Hard to say, AJ was at his best then while I think Wilder has come on as a fighter since 2018. Part of me leans towards AJ by early stoppage, but I wouldn’t be confident and think a Wilder stoppage would be the most likely outcome. Today it’s one way traffic imo, Wilder absolutely destroys.
I suspect Wilder has always had Joshua's measure but never more so than since Joshua's confidence got eroded by Ruiz and Usyk. If Joshua had fought Wilder in 2018, prior to fighting Ruiz, I think he would have replaced Ruiz as the guy who derailed his career.

I always rated Wilder very highly and still do. Wilder would clobber AJ today and in 2018. Also, I haven't watched Wilder vs. Fraudley in years. Goddamn, that fight was funny. That little scream from Audley right before the right hand... Perfection.

Really funny seeing AJ talking about how he's the most skilled HW in the game, seemingly by some distance in his own mind at the time. You can understand why he's as confused as Nigel Tufnel these days.
He surely believed it, hence he tried to have what was virtually a pure 12 round chess match with Usyk in fight 1. Though at the same time he must have subconsciously been aware that the judges had his back, making his delusion less extreme.
