Vegas attracts far bigger spenders than the U.K. does when it comes to high profile prize fights. For the price of 1 Canelo-Golvkin ring side seat 2 Joshua-Wlad ring side seats could've been purchased with money to spare. Hearn himself knows this, which is why he was desperately trying to have the Joshua-Wlad rematch in at the T-Mobile Arena where he could've easily charged 2.5-3x what he charged at Wembley Stadium. Joshua-Wlad also would've been the first World Heavyweight title fight for the venue, which is another selling point.

I don't know about that. It might lose some market value if one of them loses prior to them meeting but not a lot off the loser can rebuild. Hell it might be bigger later down the line in terms of money.

For example Lewis made more for fighting Tyson in 2002 after both had lost than he was offered in 96 for the supposed fight.

 

I agree with you about vegas but in this case it's not really relevant. I don't think either of them are big enough in the USA for vegas at the moment, so next best in this fight is the uk

 

Wilder is not a draw in the US, AJ isn't a name neither. The fight would make half the money in the US compared to Europe.
