I don’t know good question and by the way you are 100% right it will be special and that’s when the belts will matter.
I don’t claim that, I agree that’s a good fight and wilder should fight him however AJ fans want it both ways too wilder should fight him and then when he wins it will be so he beat a guy AJ beat years ago.
The belts are irrelevant tbh but it is what each fighter bring to the table and in that case it would be about a 90-10 split based on the last few fights...
omg man I agree with you but my point isn’t about your opinion it’s about Joshua’s. Joshua is the one talking about how important these other belts are not me? But I’m not a newbie so if your just gonna start week sh*t you win pal
Lucky Wilder is saying exactly the same thing. In fact he often says he isn't concerned about the money he wants the legacy so he will accept this offer pretty quickly just to get the fight sorted... Maybe take your blinkers off???
Nope. The only argument for Wilder to fight Whyte is £££. A) It earns him a career high payday B) It gives him more leverage in Joshua negotiations Wilder fighting in the UK is no different to Lennox Lewis travelling to the US.
You clearly can't read as I never stated Martin was one of Joshua better wins wins, hell Whyte is a better win for Joshua as was Takam, I simply listed fighters they beat for titles. The Wlad win is still better than anything on Wilder's resume whether it's overrated or not. Where has Joshua said he wouldn't fight outside of the UK. The Wlad rematch was set for Vegas they talked about Miller in New York too. You're insinuating something that has no basis in reality. Never said Wilder brings nothing to the table, he just doesn't bring as much as Joshua.
Blinkers?? Your right wilder has said that, but at some point fair is fair. So after the BS Parker dealt with wilder should go right along with the program money split, venue, judges, and a ref that will call time out and sucker punch you if you lay a glove on your hero. The crazy thing is I don’t really like either of them I would root for Parker against both of them and do want wilder to KO Joshua but then again a I have blinkers on.
Mabey im wrong I could have sworn i read Joshua say something to the effect of I may never go to the u.s. if that’s incorrect then your right there I shouldn’t insinuate that. Whatever, it’s just after the Parker fight with the judging and the ref it seems a little rediculous to be so one sided as far as negotiations are concerned
Ok we can Agree to disagree mainly because I don’t want to argue all night and you have disagreed with everything I’ve said except wilder brings something to the table which it’s pretty obvious considering he’s a champion. And you clearly thought I was a casual who wasn’t gonna point out the Martin fight. AJ has one up on wilder beating Klitschko other than its really a wash including the two most previous fights IMO. Correction maybe two up haha Whyte is a pretty solid fighter
He said recently he could see the possibility of never fighting in the US because the market there simply can't compete with the UK market currently. Fact is he isn't a star in the US and there are no American stars in the heavyweight division so the need to go to the US to fight is not really there like previous era's when the majority of top heavyweights were based in America. So I can understand why you thought that. Why bring up the ref and judging in the Joshua/Parker fight when the judging in the Wilder/Ortiz fight was worse. At least the judges in the UK had the right guy winning even if the scores where a little wide. The ref in the Wilder/Ortiz fight didn't seem any less impartial than the ref in the Joshua/Parker fight either with the timely delay to get the Doc to check out Wilder after he was hurt. The negotiations have only just begun, I think it's too early to say it's one sided. Parker and Higgins did well to get what they did. I expect Wilder to at least get what they did eventually, it will just take time to do it.
Dude I agree he should make more money but time will tell how much so I won’t get into until it’s said and done. To me it doesn’t look like it’s gonna be anything other than exactly what Joshua wants and thats not how unifications of this level should be. And I’m speaking more about the hole situation I think the money thing is legit he earns more he should get more I get that.
I was just praising Lewis in another thread it was a big move and it obviously paid off but lewis continued to fight in the U.S. Wilder coming over to fight Whyte might be similar but Joshua on the other hand is different situation all together.
