Takam won 1 ****ing round and you guys are talking like he exposed AJ and that AJ was lucky with the weak stoppage. Let's ignore the fact that : - Takam's best shot during the whole fight was a headbutt. - The ref stalled the action when AJ opened a cut on Takam with a punch. - Takam won 4 rounds against Povetkin when he was pumped full of meldonium. - Takam won 4 rounds against Parker and had Parker flopping around the ring like an alcoholic. - Takam has shown before that he gasses late in fights and stops throwing punches. Those doctor breaks likely helped him more than AJ. - Wlad in his prime got knocked out in 2 rounds by a journeyman and part time golfer. Let's ignore all that and **** on AJ and pretend that he sucks and would lose all kinds of fantasy fights. Lol
I don't understand the point you're trying to make. Some points strengthen AJ's claim while others do the opposite. You're going to have to elaborate.
I hope this wasn't made in response to my thread. I just want to set the record straight and say that I have no agenda in this and I think Anthony Joshua is good for boxing and I think he won this fight quite easily. I just made the thread about the possible fix because it is VERY FISHY, that they flashed a scorecard showing AJ winning by all 3 judges before the match even started. Just because I like a fighter doesn't mean I'll rule out a network blatantly cheerleading/stacking the deck for him. I think showtime owes all the fans an explanation as to why or how this could happen.
I'm saying that objectively AJ did well against a decent opponent, and that all this talk of "this person would beat Joshua easy" because of this fight is bull and doesn't pass the common sense test.
I think he is trying to say that Takam is really good, but that AJ is much better. As Takam was able to do that to many fighters, yet Joshua got by him with ease. Let's not forget that Takam took this fight on very short notice.
There is a thread up about it, but I'll post the video anyways cause I really think we deserve answers. This content is protected
it doesnt matter who won what and when aginst Takam in this comparison...i really dont think he won any round not one...lol But this wasnt a shock Takam was out classed in everything besides maybe chin? MAYBE? Who knows bc joshua looked like he liked getting hit in this one and welcomed it...oh boy......
They were just testing out their graphics. If you were going to fix the fight, you're not going to let the work experience guy who does the in screen visuals in on it.
How many times have you seen that happen though? I've never seen that happen once in my life. If they were doing that, why didn't they explain it? Boxing has had too many shady things happen lately to just brush something like that off.
