Joshua was Price-like exhausted in the 5th round against Wlad

Just saying... If Parker can get his body shots going and his chin holds up he has a really good chance of getting an exhausted Joshua out of there. It doesn’t matter much that Joshua has dropped weight, he’s still overmuscled and it’s inevitable he will gas at some stage in any fight where he hasn’t KO’d his opponent within 3 rounds.

That's been a year ago. People start from nothing and run one year later an ultra-marathon if they are dedicated. Pretty sure Joshua learned from his mistakes and Parker is not Wladimir!

It’s about his muscles mate. It doesn’t matter how much endurance training he has done it won’t help him when he’s still that muscled. Throwing punches and moving over a long fight WILL need so much oxygen, the lactic acid build up in his muscle will be unbearable and he will fold like Price. Parker needs to have this iron chin that Higgins has been bigging up.

Why come Canelo hasn't learned from his past stamina mistakes?

I have AJ winning by stoppage in round 9 or 10, but can absolutely see the scenario you outlined.

I'm in the same boat as you in regards to an upset. I see it as unlikely, but definitely possible.
Regardless if Joshua loses 10kg, he still has bodybuilder issues to feed the fibres.

If Parker can move and rip to the body, he definitely has a chance. If he can get AJ on the back foot, I see a Shane Cameron/Monte Barret type of knock out.

Don't read too much into the 'granite chin' hype. It was simply to get people talking, Higgins is full of ****.
Parker has a good chin, especially in todays heavyweight division.

However, it is definitely crackable. I saw Patrick Mailata stun Parker as an amateur here in New Zealand.
Fun fact, Mailata is one of Anthony Joshua's sparring partners leading up to the bout!

No way. When price is exhausted he doesn't see punches coming at him, he dips his head low, hangs over the ropes. AJ was still alert enough to survive and avoid getting hit clean.

The fact the op is trying to compare it to price is laughable. AJ never folded vs Wlad. He was hurt, tired and found a way to win. That shows something price does not possess.

Price at the first sign of trouble is finished. AJ has never shown such traits.

For sure I can see that being an issue. AJ is a rightful favourite and the likely winner to boot. However, Parker is a definite live underdog and if he gets through the first few rounds and his chin holds up then he will have his moments, of that I have no doubt. I took some of Parker KO at 16-1 when the odds first came out and I'm happy with that. I expect AJ to win but he can't fight at a pace for 12 rounds and if Parker can land when AJ gasses a touch, which he will if Parker takes it deep, then I can see it happening.

Ok that’s interesting. I just hope Parker throws punches especially to the body and doesn’t just put up a Breazeale-type performance for a few rounds before getting stopped.

AJ gets a second wind. For about three minutes when AJ is exhausted he stops moving, doesn’t hold properly and is a sitting duck to be taken out.

He is so dangerous that Wlad woud'nt commit.. If Parker can keep busy and make AJ work for 6 rounds, then he might have a 50/50 chance of the win.

Joshua says It's going to take more than a human to beat him. Charles Martin rubbed off on him a bit? Joshua sold his damn soul I can totally see it.It's interesting Parker is a religious man. This will be a crazy war

5th round wasn't that the one where he knocked Wlad down for the first time?? Then he took a Wlad left hook to the chin which AJ took (not like Pulev). Still manage to survive against a man his size....

At the same time Wilder takes a few shots (nothing super flush) from Ortiz and looks like a pin ball for a round but doesn't go down mainly due to the size difference he had a chin of iron..

AJ handles getting hurt far better than Wilder.

Parker can do it. Takam gave AJ some interesting times and Parker > Takam. I don't think we've seen the best from Parker yet.

He recovered at the end of the day.. not every fight goes perfectly.. he got the KO win and recovered from a tough place, what more can you ask for
