Breazeale was dropped by a blown up cruiser weight and would not rate among Wlad's 15 best title opponents. Yet Joshua was extra careful with this fringe contender type when it was clear Breazeale wasn't skilled enough to land, or fast enough to counter. I do agree with you, Joshua is open to the right hand and his chin in the amateurs was shaky. Chins don't really change much. What struck me recently was Wlad really wanted this fight. He sparred and owned a young Joshua, some say knocking him out.
Breazele showed he can take a punch that night,AJ virtually battered him for the entire fight,I reckon he should of finished him earlier though when he had Breazle hurt but he seemed to lay off him instead of going for the kill.
Joshua also couldnt train properly for a week bc of a virus prior to the fight. Also Breazeale was in shape unlike being lazy against Mansour and overweight vs Izu...and yet still knocked them out or tko'd them. Joshua would finish Breazeale and Whyte both under 6 rnds if he wanted to now in the same night. He actually put Breazeale down with a jab and decided to end it when he got a bloody nose and in his last fight gave 2 mercy rnds to Molina just to give fans some showing ....klitchko is getting the real Joshua ,the one that will end a fight at a moments notice when he sees an opening, good luck Wlad.
never permanently banned. forgot my password to plank46. never made any bones about it. told blizzy on one of my first five posts on this account. never heard that one about doubling the posts. even so, that leaves you with over fifteen a day. do the math. whatever you think of me or my mind makes no difference to me.
Brazeal was a joke. A punching bag who turned up for cheque. No talent or ability. Sent from my SM-G925W8 using Tapatalk
I don't think he stops Wlad early but I will say he did have Breazel hurt early and pretty much did what he wanted in there
It doesn't matter if AJ went 7 rounds or 1 round with Breazeale. There's absolute nothing on AJ's record to suggest he beats even an old Wlad. It can't be AJ's record that is making him the favourite. He's faced 18 nobodies. The reasons people are favouring AJ are HOPE and TALENT. People can see AJ has athletic talent and they HOPE he's got the right mentality to put it altogether and beat someone half-decent.
I hate to say this because it means I was wrong about the my prediction with Wlad and Tyson but Fury boxed circles around Wlad, yea some of it was age, but some of it was just the fact that Fury's footwork, and length (no homo) were too much for Wlad, he couldn't just sit back and Fury was too big to tie up. Fury really did have the goods, but he was such a goofball, none of us realized it. *shrugs*
Joshua is always open for the left hook, which is a worry. You can't go on past opponents though, oh this one lasted this many rounds so he can't beat this guy in so many rounds. boxing just doesn't work like that. It's what makes it so great, because you just don't know what's going to happen. Joshua can stop klitschko inside two rounds and vice-versa.
Breazeale is WAY more durable and tough than Wlad, but way less skilled. Joshua is just as skilled as Wlad, way younger, and Wlad has an oragami chin. Guy's totally ****ed.
