First of all, let's keep it real: Wilder would be an easy work for Joshua. Yes, Wilder is strong and the Ortiz fight showed that he is underrated, but we also saw his mistakes, AJ would defeat him you don't have to be a scientist to realize that.
But, the main point is. Right now Joshua is the best HW in the world, but he is still only 28. Probably he will get the WBO belt from Parker, if after that he would go after Wilder, he would get the WBC aswell and he would become an undisputed champion, but then at the age of 28 he would stay alone in his weight divison. The Fury fight would be great for him also, but that might will never happen.

Wilder needs to build up his profile (he is not even recognized in the States), and Joshua should make his commercial value in the States. That's why it would be a good idea, if Joshua would face Miller next in Texas, and Wilder would fight Whyte in the UK, but it's very dodgy that Wilder could beat Whyte, and if he would loose both AJ and Wilder loose their big payday.

Joshua-Wilder could be a huge event in Vegas, with 2+M PPV, but right now it's too early for that. I hope Hearn and AJ won't rush it, and i really hope Wilder starts to look after real opponents (like Ortiz) and he keeps winning.

This is why I wouldn't be at all surprised if Hearn tried to postpone the fight another year or more.

I personally don't mind if the fight happens next or after they each have another one or two fights.

I don't mind if it happens next because I'm a boxing fan and it's a fight.

I don't mind if they have another fight or two because I'm not that desperate for the fight. I don't see it as 50/50, more like 75/25 to Joshua. I don't mind AJ having a couple more fight because I still consider him a bit inexperienced. I don't mind Wilder having a couple more fights because it would help legitimise him and therefore help legitimise the AJ Vs Wilder fight as a genuine superfight.

Well we know it isn't happening next.

    Joshua-Miller
    Wilder-Breazele

    Nov/December Joshua-Fury

I have my doubts Joshua-Wilder happens in 2018

I'm sure that's what he wants (if during the maintime Wilder is loosing against someone he can regret), but probably AJ is pressuring him to make the fight, as he doesn't really care about the business side of it. I remember once in an interview AJ said if Wilder want's 50-50 money split he will get it, I'm sure Hearn wasn't happy with that.

Still too early for Fury (God knows in what kind of shape he is), and he wants 60-40 money split that's something what Hearn will not let in this World, also it won't be easy to make a deal between Matchroom and MTK. Fury is only 29, i can imagine that fight after the Joshua-Wilder bouts around 2019

That's the problem. On the one hand Hearn will be worried about there being no big fights left after Wilder. On the other hand he has to be worried that one of them could lose or something and ruin the chances of AJ Vs Wilder happening. I agree Joshua might be pressuring him. AJ probably doesn't like the idea of people thinking he's afraid to fight Wilder which means Wilders (and/or his team's) plan (calling him out, claiming he's ducking etc) is working well so far.

I agree, you're right, Fury definitely needs more time. For some reason I keep thinking Fury is going to fight AJ this year at 60/70%. Fininacial reasons, Fury ain't poor but he wants more money.

You're likely right, I'm excited to see all the top match ups at heavyweight. They're going to be BADASS

For me Joshua vs Wilder is 80-20 (I'm not a Joshua fan), but if Fury could come back in that form when he beat Wladimir, that fight against AJ is 50-50.

it is not the least bit dodgy Wilder beats Whyte. Whyte will be lucky to get past old, shot Browne.

Fury avoided guys with size and power like his life depended on it. he thought he was cashing out vs Wlad. he ran like a coward from a contracted rematch, avoiding the payday of his life. he will only face Joshua if he is broke.

If he gets past Parker, I think Joshua fights Miller in Brooklyn in August.

That will likely be it for him for the year.

Deontay early in 2019 makes sense to me.

Deontay should fight Breazer around the same time Joshua fights Miller (or the Whyte-flag v Big Daddy winner).

    Then let's get it on.

The fighter who wins all the alphabet belts will then need to fight Fury to legitimize his "undisputed" championship.

You're not the "undisputed" champion if you're not the lineal champion.

    It's 1987-88 all over again.

This 'big money fight' with Wilder is 'big money' how?

    Joshua v fury
    Joshua v Haye

etc etc all far more lucrative.

Joshua Wilder doesnt happen in 2018 or 2019 mates. It could happen in 2020.

Lets just hope it doesnt become like Pac Gayweather, where they wait so long that both become old and on the verge of retirement.

Eddie has recently been stating the fight is getting a lot of pressure to be next after the parker fight

I think that is because Eddie Hearn sees the wilder big pay day has possibly slipping away after seeing how vulnerable wilder was against Ortiz

Eddie and Joshua better get it now before someone else beats Wilder (Povetkin, Fury) and ruins the big Joshua Wilder payday

And that makes sense because we saw just how **** poor of an actual boxer wilder really is against a good fighter like Ortiz

Povetkin or Fury would clean Wilders clock. As would Parker

Hearn better “pick that cherry” before someone else does
