"Wilder is the most overrated heavyweight boxer all time." Talk about hyperbole. He may be overrated in some circles, but he is clearly underrate in others. The "AJ" crew headed up by yourself, ukboxingfan, vegan beast et al. clearly underrate him.

You talk about Szpilka - and ignore the fact that "styles make fights". This phrase is bandied about only when it suits, clearly. Wilder knocked out Szpilka, in case you hadn't noticed, and the legend that is Andy Rice Pudding Jr clobbered Joshua and made him give up, despite being short, morbidly obese and on short notice.

I've said a thousand times on this forum that I think Joshua is a very good boxer, but you ignore that. The fact is that his flaws leave him vulnerable against "one trick pony" Wilder. The bout is not a foregone conclusion in either direction, but I would have to favour Wilder and I think the most likely outcome is a Wilder knockout over Joshua.

"Just be realistic about Wilder for a ****ing second" he says as if Joshua is some unbeatable boxer, when he has been rocked countless times, gassed countless times, has lost twice and once against someone who couldn't even wobble the ghost of Liakhovich, Johnson or Franklin Lawrence. He has won one bout outside of UK and that was in a neutral state on a Matchroom card. That also has to be taken into account in the case that the bout takes place in America.

I fail to see how seeing Wilder as a favourite in that bout is being unrealistic. Your assessment is genuinely laughable.

But i haven't read anybody say Wilder is some class boxer or has amazing footwork, can fight on the back foot etc.
Everybody can see what he is i think the issue is alot of people ridiculously overrate the heavyweight division from a skill perspective.

But hey I think Wilder is mentally done from what I've seen this week but he will go.out swinging that Hayemaker.

I think this one will be "who lands first" Joshua would no way survive anything Wilder lands, but Joshua hits harder than Fury. I reckon it would be an early stoppage which ever way it goes.

Imagine if that punch that hit Fury in the 4th landed on Joshua...

Wilder is the 2nd best heavyweight in the world.

I think people will look back on Joshua and Wilder as a missed opportunity for a super fight in the same way they look back on Lewis and Bowe.

Two fighters, at one time regarded as the best in the division, somehow failing to make the super-fight to decide the #1, and both men slipping up and losing their spot and tarnishing the moment.

They might still yet fight each other, but it will never matter as much as it would have if they had fought when Joshua was the undefeated IBF, WBA (Super) and WBO Champion and Wilder the undefeated WBC Champ.

Might get Joshua v Wilder as co-main event with Brook - Khan.

All Wilder has is crazy power and heart but I’d favour him over any heavyweight bar Fury and Usyk

Whichever way you see it one thing is for sure - Joshua vs Wilder would be so damn entertaining. You wouldn't take your eyes off it for a second.

Honestly can't think of any gameplan either of them would go for that wouldn't make for a great fight. Glass cannon does them both a disservice, but they would both be so susceptible to each other's firepower. Don't think we see many fights between them two reaching the halfway stage but feel Joshua wins more than he loses.
