Well AJ definitely needs a confidence boosting fight. I hope it's a tune up for Fury.

Not the worst choice of opponent for AJ given the brutal beat down he received last time out. But not exactly the best, either.

Joshua fighting another 36 year old. He's helpless against prime power punchers

Fury is retired, that fight isn't happening. This fight makes sense for Joshua, a top 30ish guy, but if he is serious about a comeback he needs to jump straight back into the top 10 afterwards.

Personally I don't think Joshua has the mentality for another proper run at the titles, but a win of a victorious Makhmudov will give all the sanctioning bodies a good excuse to rank him higher setting Joshua up for a potential title shot if the belts scatter.

I think Joshua's Chin will decide in Makhmudov's favor and Joshua's mental weakness will also come to light again, Makhmudov by KO...

Makhmudov is nowhere near AJ's level, but AJ will have to be prepared for an early onslaught as Makhmudov can be a very fast starter.

AJ will counter Makhmudov badly. 2nd round KO.

Mak is so up right and his footwork is awful. AJ would be cagy for a few rounds but if he starts opening up Mak is target practice. Should be a good KO win for AJ, but if he gets clipped and goes gun shy Mak has a windows to try and land something big.
It's not a terrible come back fights. If he KO's Allan then the UK casual market will be force fed Mak as some super powered killer.

Look, AJ will fight anyone, let's get that clear. It's just Hearn pulling the strings, dang it.
But why won't AJ fight the Dubious rematch?
There's never been a better time to fight Dubious, he just got KO'd again.
Just call out DD and it'll happen, what's the problem?
    That's a 50/50 fight.
AJ fans, why aren't you encouraging your man on social media and giving him the courage to do the rematch?

fury IS ducking. AJ was publicly campaigning for the fight, calling for it.

rewatch the Dubois-AJ fight. You really think that’s going to go another way? That was a horrific one sided beat down.

AJ aka ''Mr Ducking Punchers'' is trying to fight one of the biggest punchers in the division, a 260-265lb man mountain with a KO 95% with 13 of his 19 KOs coming in the 1st round and 3 in round 2
