What a missmatch joke fight this is. Joshua is starting to feel like Wilder 2# in matchmaking.

Not great but with Dec 10 being the date got any other opponents in mind? The division doesn't have enough depth.

tbf to Joshua, they wanted Wlad, Pulev or Parker but none of those fights came through. Parker and Pulev ducked Joshua, but Parker will never get criticized for it as he's held to a different standard. If that scenario was the other way round, Joshua would have been called a ducker.

    My preference in order:

    Wlad
    Ortiz
    Pulev
    Takam
    Duahapas
    Haye

After that no other victory means anything anyways.

People shouldn't dress it up, this is a very disappointing fight.

It's what his 18th fight? I'd say Joshua is doing pretty good for himself considering that.

Problem is Charles Martin and Dom Brezeale were both world ranked contenders in the top ten.

    Molina is unranked.

If Joshua is gonna pretend to be a champion he should be facing ranked opposition.

Terrible fight. The only thing Molina has beaten is the corpse of Tomasz Adamek. Boxing ****ed up as usual. Not even going to bother with this fight. Nobody really should.

Eddie Hearn said all along that he didn't really want AJ-Parker this year, so he was very happy to let Parker go the WBO route, and I doubt he made any effort to entice Parker towards AJ.
Both camps seemed to have the same agenda : Fight next year.

In an ideal world, you're right but they never ruled it out and it was a possibility. Parker in reality was the one that could have forced that through. There were discussions about the fight.

Hearn has been dropping Eric Molina's name as a challenger ever since AJ won the IBF title, so it's not really a late-minute choice.

Luis Ortiz should have been offered the fight. He deserves a title shot and Hearn has him signed.

Yes, but it's a bit strong to say "Parker ducked". That's all.
