Joshua winning a 3rd Usyk fight would be Irrelevant and wouldnt put anything "right"

Ultimately, the first two fights were so comprehensive that there's no point having a third.

Even if Usyk were somehow able to turn up equal to the fighter he was in the first or second fight, Joshua would still not get full credit because it'd be assumed that Usyk had declined.

As huge an achievement as it'd be to beat any version of Usyk, it's just not going to get the credit it'd deserve and probably not going to sell well enough to get made.

Besides, I don't think Usyk would want it - he's got nothing to prove there and whilst he's only interested in legacy now, he'll probably retire after beating Fury.

 

Nobody would even want to see a 3rd fight right now. Joshua would need to probably best Fury more convincingly than Usyk does, if that's how it plays out and show something he hasn't before shown in that fight that could trouble Usyk.

Even if it happens and Joshua finds a way to win, it would be a win over an older, slower, less prime Usyk and lets be honest wouldn't erase the first two clear losses. Nobody would ever rank Joshua over Usyk in this era no matter what happens. Joshua's best hope is Usyk beats Fury and then he beats Fury and then he can at least argue he was the 2nd best of his era which isn't a terrible thing but short of what he probably desired when he first became champion.

 

Just Fury and retire. At his age he can get real old overnight, and i don't wanna see this.
If he fights Fury 2x., then at his next fight after, he will be 38.
Zero sense for someone like Usyk to fight at that advance age, given his style is about movement, speed, reflexes, cardio, etc, etc.
All of his attributes get worst after 33-34.
