I will echo these sentiments.
I picked Parker to win but AJ boxed intelligently and deserved a clear points win.

I underestimated AJ's boxing ability and I hope people who grossly underestimated Parker can admit he's a tough fighter and a good boxer. This was no mismatch.

Referee was terrible. He ruined many of Parker's best moments potentially, but he cost AJ at times too.

Well done AJ.
And good effort from JP too.

 

I've said In the whole build up how much I like Parker and if he won I'd congratulate him. Tonight belongs to Team AJ and his fans.

I've been winding up all the people who can't accept Joshua beat Parker fair and square, your the first genuine Parker fan I've seen say it like it is.

Joshua was too big and the jab seemed too much for Parker. He tried his best but won 3 rounds at most. I still like Joe, I'm glad he goes home a rich man, safe and sound too his family.

Commiserations on the loss and I'm sure Parker comes again after this.

I had it 2-3 rounds to AJ up on the cards. Joe did well early on, the jab to the body was working well, keeping AJ hesitant. The mid rounds was where Joe needed to really take the fight to AJ. Joe just didn't do enough, and AJ went well in retreat at times, distancing himself from the attacks.
I'm most disappointed on the lack of sideways movement from Joe, he needed to create those angles, and just didn't. Povetkin's style should be something he needs to look at, especially how he steps sideways to create openings for his hooks.

Joe hopefully will come back at some stage. He did us proud.

Let’s not get this twisted in to a big conspiracy. The ref was ****ing shocking for both fighters.

 

They both lost the fight! However, you have to blame the idiot referee on a lot of it, when they would start mixing it up, the referee would jump in and stop them from fighting! A horrible referee! The judges should be ashamed also, those scores were terrible! That fight could have been called a draw because neither did any real fighting, no significant punches landed by either. There were a lot of even rounds, I have no real problem with Joshua squeaking out a decision, but it was a very close razor thin fight! Those judges had an agenda! It was no shutout for sure and Joshua did not deserve to win that many rounds, no way. All they did was pose a lot, jab, land nothing, Parker did land a few good punches, Joshua landed a few, but that was it. Boring as hell! I was very disappointed! Although both are much better than Wilder, I think Povetkin would knock them both out, including Wilder! Wilder wants no part of Povetkin for sure. VADA cleared Povetkin, but Haymon's WBC did want want Povetkin to knock Wilder out. I still pick Joshua to knock Wilder out and Parker..................Old Man Ortiz almost did and he is 50 years old, although his cousin who lives in CUBA swears he is 59...................don't know about that, but most say Ortiz is close to 50................

True, didn't show any signs of the weak chin Higgins was trying to insinuate he had either, he took some pretty hard shots from Parker.

Have to say Parker does seem to have the legendary Samoan chin which I doubted he had. He took some very hard shots too and never looked stunned at all.

Parker's defence has definitely improved. I noticed after the Fury fight his head and upper body movement was better than before and it again showed vs Joshua he wasn't an easy target at all for AJ.

Was also surprised at how well Parker did on the inside. I thought he'd get overwhelmed by AJ's power there but he just took it and fired back every time with quality shots and that prevented AJ from just walking through him.

Still think Parker gives Wilder nightmares if they ever fight.
