JOSHUA WON - Ref or No Ref

True he's signed to a small promotional company, isn't a big draw and is too dangerous for most to risk fighting. But at only 26 he potentially still has at least a decade of boxing possibly left in him, he can afford to slowly rebuild and iron out his flaws and work his way up to a mandatory shot at one of the belts. We have't heard the last of Joseph Parker, hell he's yet to even peak in my opinion.

 

I didnt mind the ref but he was splitting it up too early and it didnt seem to work in either boxers favour cuz both were looking to fight inside when it was needed. Though i do think Parker would of maybe got the better of things up close. As a known big AJ fan i wasnt happy with those score cards, Joshua won but Parker won some of those rounds and deserves for it to be acknowledged on the score cards.

Dont give up on your man KIWI. For me it was more a case of Parker could of done more in that fight, young, strong, fit, great chin, power, fast hands. Its all there, he can definatly come back stronger. He may not be the prettiest to watch but the tools are there. I think last night was one of those occasions where with what both fighters were trying to do it just made it into an ugly fight, neither man could get into a rythm at all.

 

Fury and Wilder are the men who can/will beat Joshua.

Parker put in a respectable shift, though, found his way to winning three rounds or so and took some good shots very well. They were about even on power connects, but I'd say that Parker absorbed the best shots Joshua landed a little better than vice versa. He wasn't able to get those potentially damaging blows to the target with real consistency, however, and (for as well as he appeared to take Joshua's hits) he didn't seem willing to lay it on the line and go for broke when he needed to.

AJ won and quite comfortably. Parker impressed me though. I thought he was a lot worse.

One disappointment was I think AJ was a bit too over cautious and didn’t let the right go enough but other than that it was a brilliant boxing display.

I wonder how Fury saw it. Surely he would expect to easily win rounds on his awkward rangey boxing skills based on Joshua's actual performance but with such biased judging would he actually get them on the cards?

 

i dont mind the new zealand posters by and large they are not OTT on most occasions

found the same with the danish posters when kessler was the man

 

fury is mentally deficient, who cares how he sees anything.

 

The referee ruined the fight. Whenever they would mix it up the ref would stop it! So, we will never know who would have won with a fair referee.....................They both lost the fight. Joshua won close, very close, but the scores were way too wide, bad judges............
