Helenius was stiff as a plank, completely upright, timid and with zero training camp for AJ. Should have easily been disposed of

The KO was nice

The celebration was weird, just flatlined someone with no bad blood, and he's doing the suck my dick gesture. Wasn't appropriate for someone who a purported role model, surely he should show concern or at the very least just do nothing, for a man of Ajs ilk and age it was very childish tbh. Guess we can just add it to the list of weird stuff he does

 

I wonder if his decline is all physiological or partly physical he just been very poor since the Ruiz fight. Then he says he's carrying the heavyweight division? Bizarre but at least we didn't get any hip hip hoorays

 

Maybe it was too the crowd? At least he been a bit more genuine rather than playing his sponsor friendly role model character all the time but he just ends up coming across as odd

 

He is definitely gun shy but I won’t be too hard on him for last night. He was easily winning the fight and then produced a highlight reel KO.

He's a very odd human being. One minute he's all smiles and respect. The next it's "what are you looking at?". One minute he's being modest and the next he's dry humping the air. One minute he's congratulating you on winning, the next he's throwing your belts out the ring.

Sometimes he pretends to be a philosopher, sometimes he pretends to be a business man, sometimes he pretends to be a warrior. But he's a proper weirdo 100% of the time. Whyte called it right about him years ago.

Based on what I saw yesterday it’s hard to argue against Wilder stopping AJ. He was flat footed, didn’t cut off the ring well, tentative and for the first 3 rounds he was scared to take a shot.

Matchroom should take the money now and make the Wilder fight.

 

AJ certainly comes across as a very complex character. The one thing he did that I did find amusing was when those students were teasing him and rather than just ignore it like most would, he actually went and confronted them
I know some are going to say it was wrong but I bet those students shat themselves.

 

Joshua is simply letting the carefully crafted Matchroom PR mask slip in the heat of the moment.

 

Somehow has 0 charisma despite a decade of intense media training. Strange guy.

Would love to see the Wilder fight though.
