So after last night Joshua is stiff, has stamina issues, bad footwork etc. Will be beat by Fury, Wilder, Haye etc. Joshua shows some weaknesses in 1 fight vs a good undefeated fighter and everyone is out to get him. Meanwhile these people who say this wont recognise Wilder has been getting wobbled by complete bums and his technique is pretty damn poor. Fury had terrible performances vs likes of John McDermott and was dropped by a cruiserweight Cunningham. Haye has done fk all at heavy and is completely overrated there! He dropped a shop worn John Ruiz in the first yet let him go to 9 rounds after that. Fought scared vs Wlad, danced around and done ****** all vs Valuev. Whyte is a better boxer than anyone Wilder and Haye has beat at Heavyweight and has a better chin than the 3 of them. Stop being blinded in your criticisms! Who is to say the 3 of them would have even survived the first 3 rounds with AJ teeing off on them? Whyte's durability and size/strength is being overlooked severely.
--Knocked out badly by an unknown LHW in amatuers --ALSO, ko'd by a Polish Sausage in the amatuers --Squeaked by with a bronze somehow in the Olympics --Put down by morbidly obese Dustin "Big Worm" Nichols with a "Check-Jab" --Put down heavily and almost out by career loser Harold "Hard Roc" Sconiers --Built much of his career by beating sad corpses like Harrison and Lyakovich --Brought in personal friend Malik Scott to take an obvious dive --Did not fight the real champ for his "title" but a Don King manufactured Buffet champion --Knocked down by 2 Wlad jabs and out with one medium left hook in sparring --Destroyed and almost ktfo'd by Haye in sparring --Rocked heavily by a Firtha jab --Could not defeat Stiverne as convincingly as Demetrice King --Could not even knock Stiverne down like Rossy --Some of the most shameful opponents for his "title defenses" that the world has ever seen, showing his low self esteem --Rocked badly and almost out vs Molina ("Drummer Boy") --He did not perform as well agasint Molina as Arreola OR ASHANTI JORDAN, both of whom knocked him out in 1 --Eye busted up and made to look like a gargoyle by Duhaupas ("The Reptile"), a French pastry chef --Sold as a nice guy, but actually spends his time beating up hookers and mental patient Charlie Zelenoff, who are ironically his best opponents --Dispresects great fighters like Tyson and Klitschko --Now trying to claim that Fury's "courageous" win somehow makes him champion. --Avoiding Povetkin like the plague --Seems to be using a new tactic, probably to mask steroid use, of not allowing his pathetic opponents a full camp --Was considering Wawryck, knocked out in 3 by his mandatory, as an opponent --Offered a shot to Adamek, a shot to pieces 39 year old former LHW who is 1-2 in his last three, but only allowed him a 6 week camp. --Avoided Briggs and Bronco Billy Wright, shot fighters who carry AARP cards --Will fight an unemployed Soccer Hooligan named Szpilka? on 4 weeks notice, and will underpay him, overfeed and hooker him up --Wilder's team, "Burger Squad", keeps removing and scrubbing the Internet of all of his shameful knockdowns and ktfo's; mostly while attempting a bad attempt at the "Ali Shuffle", which will now be called the "Burger Bungle".
Or, you could look at it on the flipside - people point out some flaws that may trouble him at the elite (no, Whyte is NOT the elite) and his fanbois have a huge cry that anyone does anything other than get on their knees and worship him. Get over it. Saying he's not a God doesn't quantify hate. It's exciting times and ****ysing the strengths and weaknesses of the different up and comers is natural when we don't get to just see fights between them all. If you think he's flawless then you should spend more time looking at your own motivation than having a cry about other people's. Sure there will be haters too, but who cares? It's not the majority and the opinion of people who make out like he's a bum clearly isn't worth anything - probably about as worth while as the people who think he can beat everyone.
Joshua is not what the promoters have made out, if he steps up I see him having a similar career to david price
How on earth you came to the conclusion that Whyte is BETTER than anyone Wilder or Haye has beaten, and how you can claim that Whyte has a better chin than all of them, when the first time Whyte stepped up he was blasted out and left unconscious at the end of the bout, I have no idea.
Also on the chin and eliteness of Whyte front... I'd lean towards Duhaupas having a good fight but a win over Whyte, but also AJ beating Duhaupas by pts because chin/conditioning much better than Whyte.
When Whyte clears out what trio? You think Whyte's going to prove your claim by beating Wilder and Haye and who, exactly?
I wouldn't rule out the possibility of him beating them, but you are missing the point because your bias is blinding you up there with the best of them. He has not been up against the level of competition that Wilder or Haye has. He probably needs to iron out some things before he does step up to that level too, to be fair he himself basically indicated that in the post fight interview.
I think Whyte's chin is fine. He got demolished by a massive uppercut. But, based on that loss, I don't know how anyone could claim Whyte was better than anyone Wilder or Haye beat or that Whyte has a better chin than all of them (apparently Joshua included). Whyte has a lot to prove. His first step up didn't end so well. If Whyte fought Wilder or Haye next, I would fear for him.
Wait what, he's saying Whyte will beat those guys? LOL! I'd love to see Parker fight Whyte. His chin is more than fine, it's probably one of the better ones in the business. I just think the combo of chin and conditioning would be in Duhaupas' favour. I find the culture in here of people saying that someone isn't the best in the business at something means they are terrible is a bit tiring. There is plenty of room between "best" and "worst"!!!
Yeah Joshua has some flaws, but from what we've seen there's nothing to suggest he doesn't blow that fraud Wilder away in a round or two.
We'll see about his chin. But, I agree. There's a lot of middle ground. Hell, it's mostly middle ground. There are very few instances where someone is the BEST and someone else is simply TERRIBLE. :good
You lost me after the word "flaws." They both have flaws. It would be a wildly entertaining fight if they met. But, apparently, Joshua is in no hurry. (Or at least that's what he said last night.)
Agreed. They ALL have flaws, it's all about who is suited to capitalising on them. There are plenty of top guys right now who wouldn't be able to with AJ, though I suspect Wilder would be able to - but either way a hugely entertaining fight. Same as with a number of the up-and-comers, and much as the fight with DW proved to be. We are in for some entertaining fights in the HW division over the next couple of years, at least for those of us who are willing to accept that everyone is beatable and just watch and enjoy the fights without getting all precious about it.
