My prediction is the same as before the first fight: AJ to win the fight, and sure, lightning could strike twice, but he's the better boxer, better athlete and more experienced fighter at the top. Ruiz did a great job recovering from almost getting stopped and congrats for clocking an overconfident AJ with a punch of no recovery. And yet I still blame AJ more so for recklessness than credit Ruiz for the shot then finishing off a clearly buzzed AJ rounds later. I full root for Andy but expect a cautious Joshua doing what he should've done the first place, proving to be the better fighter, an no BS Ruiz weigh talk "too light" "too heavy" lol will make much of a difference.

You must have missed the first fight..

AJ clearly broke Ruiz' hands with his head, AJ clearly won the fight on Matchroom scorecards, after 7 rounds and even after the 4 knockdowns they had AJ 9 points up.

Ruiz showed Joshua for what he is. An imposing physical specimen with decent but not great boxing skills.

Ruiz showed himself to be a non physically imposing specimen with better boxing skills.

It wasnt a lucky punch to the mythical behind the ear unrecoverable pressure point.

It was a guy consistently landing on and counter punching the champ. By the mid rounds, AJ could not throw without getting hit in return. He had no answer, knew he was beat and quit.

    Credit where credit is due.

Now.. what kind of adjustments will AJ make in this fight? The great ones make adjustments. This is a career defining fight for AJ. Is he great boxer or just a big, strong dude with some boxing skills? We shall see soon enough.

Yup. There are levels in this sport, and Joshua is a level above Ruiz.

Look for Ruiz to resume his rightful place in the boxing universe tomorrow along with his predecessors Buster Douglas and Hasim Rahman.

Joshua is slow and robotic. There's zero indication that he's a better boxer than Ruiz.

    I agree 100%

but he has lost weight so AJ fans have taken that to mean he will be floating around like a prime Mayweather in around 20 hours.

TY but I'm more proud of my Nelo by KO & Inoue by tough decision picks, picking a leaner, less meaner AJ was not a hard choice. End of the day: one result does not make or break a fighter.
