Helenius only fought this Saturday gone.

He'll still be match fit and ready unless he went heavy and overloaded on the carbs and beer between then and now in which case he might be a little slower than usual but still otherwise pretty game.

I was one of those saying he would be a much more dangerous opponent to Wilder than many were thinking. Turns out I didn't know **** in that instance.

Anyway, this is a pretty pointless and random fight that really has no upsides for Joshua. He struggles to blast Helenius out of there in one he's already going to be compared unfavourably to Wilder. And even if he does dispose of Helenius in one I doubt it'll be in the same sort of fashion, one punch lights out staring at the canvas Julian Jackson style that Wilder did it. So he'll still be compared unfavourably.

This is the second in a really crappy opponent selection after Franklin that seems almost designed to make Joshua look bad. I realise it's last moment, but honestly Chisora would have been better even.

It's not PPV now. Just tune in ( if you're a subscriber) for a night's boxing & join in the rbr's here on ESB.

    It'll be fun!

Good job he has plenty of time to prepare for one of the division's top four then.

Oh yeah, and Helenius has a full week's training camp to implement the most thorough plan ever devised against AJ.
I think he'll try to box AJ from distance and not go at him careless like like he did Wilder. Either way, as soon as he gets clipped, it's over. AJ might **** around and get clipped by something. It would be hilarious if he struggled as this is supposed to be a measuring stick as to what he can do to a previous Wilder opponent. It does nothing and just plain sucks. There better be a Wilder fight in the Winter.

If Joshua doesn’t look like a million bucks vs Helenius, he might be good and truly, done.

Helenius has really no chance here. Joshua will KO him within 5 or less. This is a farce. Hearn must have tossed a decent sized bone to Robert.

Honestly I dont like to see fights between fighters who are alreary done from a long time. Id prefer to see Joshua v Ruiz III or v Wilder to see Bodybuilder on the canvas and KaO'd. doubts there people who have fun.

Honestly Id like to see Bodybuilder v Ruiz again or v Wilder. Bodybuilder would get KO'd for sure and career finished. Usyk destroyed the remains of his neurons.

Helenius has a glass jaw. He's not doing anything. It is pure Nordic glass.

    This.

Helenius punches ok but he'll be lights out before he knows he's in a fight.

Even a half washed AJ wins this easily.

Helenius was selected for a reason and it is probably expected that he is not fully recovered from his last fight last week, even though that fight was a like a easy sparring match, Helenius may not be fully ready psychologically after being called up to fight Joshua almost at the last minute.
