whyte is a bad style has insane long arms and can punch AND is YOUNG. Wilder never mentions whyte tries to act he doesn't exist
COULD. Not WOULD. But the fact Whyte is pretty much his mandatory and ranked high in all organizations completely dismisses Wildes claim he is just an AJ left over. He is a very serious contender who is not 46 years old. Wilder cant dismiss Whyte as a challenge. Well actually i suppose he can, Wilders been doing it his whole career.
His reach only 1" longer than Browne so nothing ridiculous for his height. Wilder's reach arms are longer...83.
Whyte is a credible opponent. But we all know the outcome of the fight if he was to fight Wilder. So what is the point other than the fight serving to delay Joshua vs Wilder? Imagine if GGG dictated to canelo, that he must fight Jacobs before they could fight each other. GGG would rightly be receive grief for ducking.
Because Whyte is his number 1 and has been for some time. Plus it’s a career high payday. You need to reward fighters for working their way up to the top. The Joshua fight will still be there after it.
Whyte is AJs left overs. But he is also a top 10 HW challenger, so respect to him. However in terms of relevance in determing the number 1 HW he is irrelevant. That question can only be answer by Wilder facing the winner of AJ/Parker. AJ is avoiding facing Wilder now because it makes more business sense to face Tyson Fury first, who poses no threat to his health/reputation and then face Wilder who does (than it does the other way around). The money would not be there if he got bounced and stopped by Wilder. If he drops a UD to Fury then the money is still there in him facing Wilder. So Whyte is being thrown in front of Wilder not as a legitimate challenge but as a tactic for AJ to avoid facing Wilder, until he has already had his nice pay day against Fury. This is all assuming he gets his win over Parker first.
Lol exactly, these cascual boxing fans get so excited over anything. Whyte knocked out a 40 year old overrated Browne and they act like this is the greatest thing that happened to the heavyweight division in a while. Whyte isn't that good and he will never be that good. He is just a slow, plodding, over weight slightly above average fighter.
