Despite what has been said, it's clear to anyone who has watched any of Joshua's other fights that he wasn't himself in that Ruiz fight. Something was off, the body language before the fight, the weirdness between rounds. I think it may have been him fighting away from home in which case Ruiz has this fight. However if this is not the case I think Josh beats him handily.

Parker has a better chin than AJ

    Thats why he beat Ruiz

Bar a couple of small points I couldn’t agree much more with the original post. I don’t think Ruiz will just win, but he’ll win pretty comfortably. Can’t believe the bookies have AJ as the fave

    That[s partly true.

He mainly won due to fighting in his home country and the judges were always going to favor Parker in New Zealand.

Ruiz just has to clip him once and Joshua will panic and soon be robot dancing again.

Nah, Ruiz sonning Joshua was far worse.

Lennox Lewis was completely in control of that fight. He was toying with Rahman, hell he had a gigantic smug grin on his face literally as Rahman threw the knockout punch because he wasn't taking him seriously. That is the definition of disregarding an opponent.

You think 190lb 6'2 Logan Paul who's only ever had 1 white collar fight could brutalise 240lb 6'6 Joshua former unified World Champ with 1 (or 2 if Ruiz beats him again) professional defeat in 23? You must be joking right?

    Yes I do.

Joshua won't be the same after Ruiz has finished with him.

They'll all be queuing up to fight him after the rematch to get a name on their record so they can increase their number of youtube and Instagram subscribers.

Logan Paul may well want to fight Joshua but I very much doubt he'd get licensed to do so with 1 professional fight at cruiserweight and never fought at heavy weight before. Even if Joshua was broken by Ruiz and at 50%, Logan Paul would likely get badly hurt.

I'm still not totally sold on Ruiz jnr.

Yes, he bashed AJ first time...no argument.

If the rematch is another Ruiz win I'll definitely reevaluate my opinion.

I just feel some have gotten a little carried away and seem to think it is impossible for Joshua to win...and that's not sensible.

One thing I always gave AJ credit for was consistently facing good opposition (relative to other top HW).

He faced and beat Whyte, Parker, Klitschko, Povetkin, Breazeale, and others.

Ruiz, by contrast, has faced Parker, which he lost (rightly or wrongly).

I just want a great fight, and an AJ win; so we can potentially have a trilogy decider.

Not that i think Hearn will want AJ anywhere near Ruiz if it's a close rematch.

I guess predictions will be made closer to ths fight, but I'll state now I think AJ wins.

    How, i don't know.

Waldo Klit has been flown in last minute to give Joshua some lessons on the Octopuss Strategy that kept Waldo winning for a decade... when an opponent is about to crack you on your Glass Temple just grab him and tie him up like an Octopuss would then after the referee forces you to let go hit your opponent with a few jabs to build up points then grab him again before he can hit you back! Hope you can lean on and wrestle your opponent into exhaustion so you can KO them late when they're an easy target! It worked for Waldo for 10 years!!

Have you've ever seen fighters nod "no" or just plain grin when they've been tagged with a clean hard punch?
That nod and or grin really means "yeah, you got me good, " and in a lot of those cases the nod and or grin is an attempt to hide the fact that the fighter is really hurt.
Lennox Lewis was already seeing stars when Rahman landed that knockout blow.

exactly. He is the bigger fighter. Control the pace with the jab land the right and hold..
