Journeymen that Can Become Solid Contenders

    Just wondering if we could assemble a list of current veteran fighters in the mold of Freddie Pendleton that despite having a bad record have the potential to win a title.

    The most recent example is Rogers Mtagwa. Please post pictures or video if you have it.

    David lopez also a good choice...The guy has 38 wins 12 loses but won his last 14...

    David Lopez is not a "journeyman." He is a contender; ranked #6 by Ring Magazine at 160.

    Personally I think he could beat some of the guys ranked above him. For example, Gevor at #4 is silly. David would hand that featherfisted midget his ass. I also think his chances against Sylvester would be very good.

    carlos maussa comes to mind, i always think of him as a journeyman who got lucky when he landed the fight with Vivian harris
