I question his willingness to challenge Cotto, a by far even bigger threat to Mayweather's career than old, faded DLH or a paper P4Per like Hatton. If you weren't so blinded by your praise for Mayweather you'd realize this.

Should have been Kelly Pavlik, Miguel Cotto or Joe Calzaghe, not ****ing Joy Boy.

Cotto is smaller then Hatton, slower footwork, slower to the punch. He is a better boxer and stronger then Hatton. None of this matters because Floyd is the best defensive boxer in the game. He doesnt have the speed to swarm Mayweather like Hatton did, and he definitely cant box with Mayweather. Oscar De La Hoya at 154 was a much bigger risk to Mayweather then Cotto will be. Cotto couldnt out land Mosley, a 36 year old way past his best. He is notorious for getting caught by punches he doesnt see. Even against Gomez he was getting caught a few times, and Gomez is weak and slow.

I see this as being nothing more then patent Mayweather boxing clinic.

They didnt sell enough PPVs I guess.

Honestly I'd be fine if Floyd just moved up to 154 or down to 140....just dont tease us by calling yourself a welterweight then you set us up to believe we're gonna see great fights involving you and the other great welters. The "best fighter in the world" should prove it by fighting the best fighters possible...his last three fights were abominations. You're not a welterweight man.

At least at 154 we can be temperate about things...you vs Sergio Mora.
