That's true, Diaz is turning out to be a special fighter. But, I really think a pot shotting Mayweather is enough to do the trick wide by moving and timing shots on him... Freitas stunned him a little, a flush Floyd shot easily matches that and he'd land better.

But like I said, Diaz is likely not just what he is now, he likely gets better and if he does, he could potentially enter this fantasy conversation as an equal.

Floyd matches leonard in every category, Leonard doesnt. He isnt half the defender Floyd is. Leonard fought flat footed alot, its what got him into trouble in some of his fights, Floyd will have him off balance most of the fight, slipping his combinations and catching him with right leads. Floyd by SD.

Floyd only loses to fighters who are physically superior to him. That would be Hagler and Hearns.

Well said. These bitches aint got an argument. They hope that someone will beat Floyd. They hope and pray, but the difference with Floyd fans is, we dont hope for anything we know he will win.

Hagler is a MW, you dumb ****ing douchebag. God your stupidity continues to astonish.

Floyd matches Leonard in size, strength, and power? He matches him in handspeed at 147, or combinations? Only edge he has is defense, and he'll need a lot of it to avoid being stopped, which is all he can hope for in this matchup.

Whitaker, Duran, Chavez, Pryor, Benitez, Robinson, Leonard, Griffith, Gavilan, Napoles, Armstrong, Walker, etc would all beat him.

Mayweather doesn't match him in every catagory. At 147, Leonard was faster, bigger, and had more power than him. Leonard CHOSE to fight flat footed at times. He could move around quite well. And while Mayweather is the better defender, Leonard was better offensively, throwing more combos at that weight than Mayweather. My guess is that he is physically stronger than PBF as well.

It's great that your a Floyd fan and all, but you really gotta learn a little more about boxing.

The best way to do it is by not becoming a fan and trying to have an unbiased opinion about judging fighters.

For instance, try to think of who will win the fight against Cintron and Margarito or if you have bias against either one of them, ****.....I don't know Klitschko vs Ibriganov, no way Floyd ever fights one of them.

Either way, Pernell at 140 would have gotten Floyd.

That I'm 100% sure of. Floyd claims to be great, but he hasn't really fought anybody to prove it.

    Pernell FOUGHT EVERYBODY.

Pernell is a TRUE ALL TIME GREAT, and one of the best fighters in history in every meaning of the word.

Amsterdam has given Floyd his dues at 130/135. And that's fair, that was his best weight, his most dominant.

But even at 147, I believe he beats everyone current, including Cotto and Williams. He loses to Leonard, Hearns and Duran at that weight. SRR too. But currently, I would give him a slight edge over Cotto and Williams. Cotto is too slow and lacks Floyd's movement, skill and late rounds stamina. Williams is largely untested, Margarito notwithstanding.

Despite all the wailing about the second ODH fight, Oscar has probably the best chance of beating him of any possible opponent out there. I will still favour Floyd when they meet.

Prime Oscar at 140 or 147 probably beats Floyd at those same weights.

no, no one has posted it, margo being limited has nothing to do with what we were talking about, you are just trying to find a way out with the 'margo is limited' line.

Why do you not just say Pernell at 135, which was his best weight?

Both of them would have beat Floyd.

****, Pernell at 147 would have beat Floyd too.
