Pernell doesnt beat Floyd. Floyd is stronger and can match Whitakers speed and as shown against Judah who is one of the games fastest, Floyd is probably they fastest boxer today to the point of the take, he always lands first.. Floyd was also a better defender by compubox count and just as accurate.

Diaz has never faced someone as fast has good footwork and defense like PBF has. IMO PBF is a stylistic nightmare for Diaz because of his poor footwork. I actually think somone like Guzman who is a poor man's PBF could beat beat Diaz at 135.

Seen it. Senior is not Junior. Not even close. Floyd told Leonard to his face how he would beat him. I cant remember what he said exactly but that he had studied all his fights.

    Ha ha ha...........

    Nah man.

You've never seen Pernell have you?

Guy used to go in there with 32 ounce gloves on with his arms down at his side, and spar Zab Judah and Zab couldn't hit him for ****.

Penell wouldn't be running either, and I don't know where you get that compubox **** from.

That's the kind of **** I'm talking about. You need to watch boxing a little longer.

I mean defend your boy and all that, but coming in here trying to say that Floyd would beat Pernell without ever seeing Pernell fight is ignorant.

Based on what? Pernell was roughing Trinidad up and winning the inside battle for the first 7 rounds of their fight, and that was the shot, crack headed Whitaker you're always speaking of. A prime Whitaker had that strength, as well as the skills to offset Floyd. Based on what I've seen, Whitaker fights much stronger than Floyd.

As shown in the Judah fight? That was exactly what wasn't shown in the Judah fight. Someone like Pernell has what Judah had over 4 rounds over the full 12, but better. Judah is more exlosive, Pernell is better in every other department.

**** compubox count, by those statistics you'll have to admit that Floyd easily lost to Castillo.

Floyd isn't a better defender than Whitaker. As I told you before, even after conceding that Compubox gave accurate, if not incomplete, numbers, there is more to it than just how low the connect percentage is against him. Styles have influence on that, and so does offensive output and the type of offense. Whitaker threw 20 more punches per round than Mayweather as well, leaving himself more open. He also had a duck and dodge style, meaning he slipped alot of punches, and rolled with the ones he did get hit with (Jones did the same, as did Pep). Mayweather is more conventional. He blocks punches completely, at the expense of his offense, and is hit flush more often than Whitaker was overall.

Are you asking if it was his best weight, or if he was the best of all time there?

In terms of greatness, I have him behind Benny Leonard, Joe Gans, and Duran. In head to head terms, I have him #1.

So what Diaz has never faced someone like PBF? PBF had never faced someone as good as DLH at 154 before, and he beat him right? This is not a valid argument.

We know that Diaz brings a certain style to the table that would make him competitive. I would favor Mayweather, but I would have been interested in the fight.

Floyd also told Margarito to his face that he would fight him.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbyQsaigxxU&feature=related

Floyd talks a lot of ****, but other fighters back in the day like Pernell and Duran backed that **** up.

You never heard about Duran and Pernell not fighting anyone because they really believed they were the best and showed it in the ring.

Floyd is fighting DLH when he's PFP #1 and the fight already happened.

If Floyd really wanted to prove his dominance, he should be fighting ranked welterweights.

He is the welterweight champ. Yet he makes no effort............

I'm not trying to find a way out of anything. It has been posted before. When Zab lost to Baldo PBF was looking for a replacement so he went to Margo who was scheduled to fight Gomez but Margo turned him down and went on to fight Gomez.:deal
