I wasn't asking you argue punch stats. You keep referring back to them, not me. And Whitaker threw FAR more than both Jones AND Mayweather. You are quoting your own punch stats incorrectly. Whitaker threw somethig like 66 punches a round in his career. Earlier on, it was in the 70's or 80's.

Stats need context, otherwise you end up with pure numbers working against you with no substance. If we are going PURELY by stats and figures, then Mayweather isn't even in the top 50 fighters ever right? He has less wins over HoF's and ATG's than many, he defended his title far less, he has beaten less champions than SRR, Greb, Armstrong, etc, and has no shot at catching them.

Yes, Hatton is one of the strongest 140lb fighters. We are talking about a true WW here who fought at SMW. There is a huge difference there. (There is a fact for you).

Whitaker was on another level of defense than Mayweather. Whitaker can do what Mayweather did and get hit less than he did. I don't believe that Mayweather can do what Whitaker did against the caliber of fighter he did.
