Joy Joyce vs Shannon Briggs

Man this would come down to who's chin could hold longer, and Id go with Joyce.

I think people overrate Briggs chin because of the Vitali fight, but Vitalis not really a true KO type guy, and by the time he fought Briggs he was high up in his new cautious outboxing style.

I remember prime Briggs when he was getting decked by Lewis and flatlined by Davaryl Williams.

Plus Briggs has Asthma.

 

Seeing his name come up I'm almost nostalgic for all that 'Let's Go Champ' stuff.

 

Briggs would run out of gas after 4 good rounds. Joyce would then start to break him down and force the ref to stop the fight. Joyce TKO7

 

Briggs. Can take big punishment but also hits harder.
We're assuming both have the same roids.

 

Joe's chin looked vulnerable on Saturday night. He was wobbled more than once.
Briggs might gas but equally had huge KO power. I might lean towards Briggs here if we use the version that fought Lewis. A banger with fast hands might be Joe's undoing.

 

Gas tank make the fight most likely.

 

Briggs would get toyed with, no power, no training or desire. Is he even a top 20 heavy?
