Joyce Ahead On One Card

Not really. He was very busy from rounds 3-5.

Not really. Zhang was shelling up and picking the odd pot shot. They were tight rounds.

 

I gave Joyce one round.

 

I had it 38 - 37 for Zhang at the time of the stoppage

 

That's bad, I had Joyce only winning 1 round.

 

I was being generous to Joyce but I had Zhang ahead before the stoppage. I hoped that Joyce would hang in there and take it late on but he had no real power behind his shots and wasn't landing enough without reply to really trouble Zhang.

 

Yeah ,Joyce was nowhere near ahead

That card stunk!

 

I believe I had the China Man 4-1 at one point and after that I was more thinking after each round can Joe keep his eye or not.

 

Joyce was way behind. He did look like he was adjusting to the power, so it isn’t out of the realm with Zhangs gas tank that Joyce would have put him on it late. Just took too many clean shots. Fun fight though

 

A completely hopeless scorecard.

What fight was he watching ? Not the same as the rest of us.

 

I think I had Joyce win one or two rounds. Can't remember which ones exactly but Zhang was well ahead for me. Something does have to be done about this but it's been happening for years. Also, I think the ref Howard Foster did well to call the doctor in when he did. He gets some stick for premature stoppages but made the right call this time.
