How do fans feel about these rankings? For me Joyce has done nothing to merit moving up to No.5 within a month and Fury`s draw with Wilder is worth more than Whyte`s win over Chisora, so should Whyte still be rated No.1 contender by the WBC?

Yeah Fury's draw is better than Whyte's win by all accounts.

But Whyte has still been more active on the WBC Roster, and like everyone thats gets a stab at the champ... Fury makes way for the next title contender.

Whyte should still be number 1 and Fury should be somewhere close behind him.

Fury is the rightful WBC champ. The number on a piece of paper is meaningless.

They'd never have Whyte top of the pile, not in a million years. All about saving Deontay from any painful defeat so he can instead pick on old, fat or past it fighters. Deontay wouldn't want a dirty fight like that. He thinks he's dirty hitting the back of the head? Whyte would teach him a lesson in being dirty!

Poor thing is, if Fury tries to get the fight in the UK, Deonkey, Haymon and Sulaiman have nowhere to turn to. They'll get slated if they choose Breazeale, Pulev etc (The high guard bums). And with Fury unavailable, they have to go for Whyte or AJ. They have no choice. There's nowhere to run anymore if Fury forces the fight in the UK.

What route will they go down? The obvious route. Yeah, you guessed it! Breazeale, and then Pulev afterwards. It's not what anybody wants, but it's the reality unfortunately.

As for Joyce, I think it makes sense. He's part of Haymon's lot now so the WBC are biased towards him. But really, Joyce is elite level. He may lack the movement, but he has the skill. His amateur background proves it.

I like Joyce but he's not beaten a top 20 opponent yet. Not even close. So having him in the top 5 is ridiculous.

But remember these are rankings from We Be Avin a laugh.

Joyce was outboxed easily by Usyk in a respected tournament after the Olympics and he isn`t highly rated at all by the WBC, he`s rated 5th by the WBA.

Being outboxed by Usyk is hardly a surprising thing though is it? There a number of top ranked heavyweights he'd prob run rings round in that format.

Would it be the same result today if they fought or do you think Joyce has improved at all? 5 years later.

Joyce puts men on their backs.

He hasn`t anyone near Usyk`s level and he does the same things hedid as an amateur, he doesn`t set up his punches well at all, he won`t be able to catch anyone with good fundamentals.

Whyte should still be ranked number 1 and also should be mandatory for WBC instead of Brezeale.

I like Joyce but he shouldnt be in a top 10 ranking position yet.
