I feel Joyce can take AJ`s power better than AJ can take Joyce`s power but tat still doesn`t mean AJ won`t knock Joe out, can Joyce really take AJ`s hardest punches? Counterpunch Boxing News "I CAN TAKE ANTHONY JOSHUA'S POWER!"~ JOE JOYCE ...
He can, but he's going to get an asswhoopin. Only success i see Joyce having is late in the fight whan Aj gasses and goes into survival mode
He took Dubois power for almost 12 rounds so he can take Joshua's imo. Not sure he can take Wilder's right hand.
Survival mode that's usually not very effective against machines that don't take a step backward and throw punches in bunches, and do we really think AJ has a chin to rival that of even this version of Takam?
Aj can clinch when he's in trouble though like against Wlad, and Wlad hits way harder than Joyce. Besides If Aj paces himself like he did against Parker and Ruiz he can beat Joyce without gassing. As ironic as it sounds Aj literally has better head movement than Takam, it's that bad. And has slipped multiple punches from quicker handed guys than Joyce. As a matter of fact i don't even know why this would be a problem, he doesn't even have to run from Joyce. Based on the Jennings and Dubois fight, Joyce is not good enough on the front foot to even force Aj back. He'd get outclassed in the exchanges and would probably be the one getting pushed back. Aj lost to bum Ruiz so i won't rule Joyce out but i just don't see how people would favor him
I think he can take it in a single burst but think over the course of a few rounds of punishment he would eventually get stopped.
AJ is almost a glass cannon Joyve can survive the onslaught lije he did against dubious he can then drown AJ in the deep end Wilder and AJ have bully mentalities who are in love with their power. yet are mentally and physically fragile. Joyce and Fury will bully bullies
Jennings isn't as good of a counter puncher or combination puncher as Aj. I don't know why you're laughing when its the truth. Joyce is seen as the seek and destroy wall when he was getting forced back by the smaller, less powerful Jennings in spots. When Joyce had him pinned down he methodically picked Jennings apart, he was open for counters. Rewatch younger Takam vs Joshua. Im pretty sure Joshua had an easier time walking him down.
Jennings saw the final bell, because Jennings is just tough. Joe had no issues walking him down or being aggressive, nor did Jennings come close to winning that fight. Nor does AJ fight anything like Jennings. Also, how is he going to do al of this, when as you stated, AJ has a pretty terrible gas tank and will fall apart late. Yes, Joe fought Dubois far more cautiously, because he didn't want to walk into anything big. He'll probably take that approach early with AJ, but if AJ gasses, and he probably will, that's when the juggernaut arrives. How they both fought against Takam is irrelevant, as I stated before the fight, Joe's one and only goal tonight will be to outdo AJ and Sasha, and he did just that.
