    Both unbeaten.

    Who takes it?

    Power? Or Chin?

    Makhmudov wears him down

Joyce wins most of the rounds until he slows down I feel

Joyce is more proven right now , but Makh is a destroyer of Chins. Lets see how Makh deals with Takam.
Joyce has a very good chin. I don't think Parker tests it.

Makhmudov's chin isn't bad. Watch the slaughter fight against Nistor. He to several rocks and just continued and KO'ed him.

    Joyce by TKO.

Makhmudov is still unproven. Let’s see what he can do in the Takam fight.

Joyce is a tough tough man with an iron chin but his work rate is low compared I like Joyce but not sure if his lower work rate can pull it out

Takam is old and worn out like Molina. He goes down within 4 rounds.
A good test would have been against Chisora or Hunter. However interesting if Makhmudov faces Joyce soon after Parker (Joyce wins with Parker imo) to understand if hes another Dubois or another Hrgovic (both overrated).

Joyce will prove his class when he beats Parker way easier than Joshua did.

Right now Makhmadov is unproven, he could be another Ajagba or Dubois, impressive against weaker opposition but when he steps up a level he'll struggle or be exposed. Lets see how he does vs Takam first.

Right now Joyce I think would beat him. Joyce's jab will no doubt find it's mark repeatedly with Makh's face first, open guard style. I see Joyce softening him up with the jab and gradually breaking him down. Makh unloads his bombs but will be unable to fight at Joyce's pace and tire and then get stopped.

I think you're definitlely raising a good point about Makh being relatively unproven against good opponents.

But Takam is just a few months shy of 42 years old and he's now well past his prime. He might do OK for a couple rounds against Makh because he's a different sort of fighter than Makh has faced before - but it's really unlikely he's getting past rounds 4 or 5. We won't learn too much about Makh from this fight, IMO, other than how quickly he can force Takam to give up his ground and that Makh needs better fights to really know what he can do. Fortunately with Arum now behind him - we should get some answers soon.

What are you talking about? Joyce has a very high work rate for a big man, I'm not sure AM could keep the pace.

Dubois was outworking him easily until eye injury....Joyce is slow and ponderous with slow hands...

I won't argue the slow part! Mahmoudov ain't exactly Ali himself, I think Joyce would outwork him to a UD.
