Questionable stoppage??? Joyce hit Takam with 50 unanswered shots. The stoppage was petfectly fine. Stop making excuses. Joyce smashed Dubois too, who is faster, more precise, better skilled when most predicted Dubois win. I rate Joyce, Makhumodov has a punch on him. Other than that he’s a joke. As for Parker, he ain’t got the tools hurt or to beat Joyce, but he does have the tools to survive. Parker laboured a win/stoppage against Winters. Babic did it better. Parker labourer a win against Junior FA, Browne blew him to pieces. Get an eye test.
What? You aren’t impress with his Homer Simpson’s style of boxing? Eat punches till you wear out the other guy and then KO them.
lol thanks but this forum is better in doses for me, and I’m sure likewise with my posts to this forum
I've not voted because I've had a little bet on the draw. I think it could be a matter of Joyce's workmate v Parker's fast hands. Will be really close this I think.
Parker is a pretty tough match up for Joyce, I could see him losing a decision or getting a questionable one. I do know JJ is at least in the top 10 tier, possibly Wilder/AJ level, but I'm positive he's not Fury/Usyk level.
He fights like the second coming of Frankenstein’s monster… Yet he is silky smooth after the fights when he does those flying hurricane roundhouse kicks like the second coming of Bruce Lee!!! The man is an enigma.
I've never seen a HW of Joyce's size keep up such a relentless work rate for 12 rounds (and thudding punches not pitty patter stuff). That in itself is impressive. Yeah his defence is poor and he's slow but he's a handful for anyone. I think he'll UD Parker relatively comfortably
If Parker has put the fitness work in then he wins a clear UD. Way too quick for Joyce. And Parker Parker a tough too
Parker is a bit soft mentally and physically imo Joyce is tough physically and mentally Parker has faster hands but seems to lack killer instinct Joyce is heavy handed but slower Joyce TKO late imo
You do understand that TKOing someone in 6 after 5 competitive rounds is more impressive than beating a guy 95-94 in a match that went the distance, where the knockdowns make the difference right? Especially when one of the knockdowns came in the closing seconds of what had been a one sided round to Takam. So 9 competitive rounds in total.
Looking forward to this fight and can see it going either way. Joyce is as tough as they come. I didn't rate his performance in last fight but that may have been down to him not taking his opponent seriously. Parker surprised me against Chisora. He seemed to have more power in his punches but should have stopped Chisora early
