Stiverne is done and Joyce destroyed him in sparring a year ago. This is a very easy tune up fight for him.
I don't see how this is a step up, Lenroy Thomas would beat Stiverne if they fought (who Joe fought in his 4th fight).
Decent enough name for someone in his 8th fight and with Arreola back, I wouldn't be suprised to see him after Stiverne.
Hahaha yeah I'm just reading between the lines I think Haymon will do that. It won't do a hell of a lot for Joyce's career but it gives his resume a few names and will probably help him get up there in the alphabet rankings and get him a few decent fights later in the year.
Stiverne's compared Joyce to robocop. Joyce just walks into straight shots like a bionic android. Will be interesting if Stiverne comes below 240lbs. He was literally outclassed by Deontay's superior speed and mobility. Joe's gonna have to lumber forward and club the blob into submission. But will the blob catch him on the counter like he did with Arreola? Is the incredible Juggernaught gonna be able to withstand that Walrus like power? Interesting times.
Big Joe walks through the pudding with ease. Hopefully Stiverne doesn't throw the fight like he did in the Wilder rematch.
Stiverne is absolutely done, a fried chicken gobbling tub of s**t, how the hell did he ever become a World Champion? That in itself is an absolute joke, as will be this fight. Joyce will win this easily but will still move as if he's underwater, I don't find him particularly enjoyable to watch, it's kind of weird.
