Whyte even in his prime wouldn't be able to keep the pace with a relentless Joyce.

Can Joyce do it now though?

Do you think a relentless Joyce ever fought/beat a guy as good as prime Whyte?

Parker and Dubois are pretty much that level. I just think he tires Whyte out and finishes him.

And then we get Whyte vs Ali for the wooden spoon - Bodysnatcher vs Jaws

If Joyce is going to weigh 20 stone again his career is done. He barely got Ali out of there, got hit clean by a non-puncher.
Whyte for all his faults throws with bad intentions he carries a dig. Not seen the Hammer fight but getting a stoppage by whatever means is a better result than labouring for 10 rounds against a guy who fights Polish doormen.

If Joyce gets back to something approaching what he was in the Parker fight he should have to much for Whyte. It will be a fire fight while it lasts.

Joyce would have to lose 1.5-2 stone to be quicker. If not I could see an ugly fight 116-112 Joyce win. Could get fun if one of Whyte’s spin aroundy left hooks connects on Joyce’s now questionable chin.

Yes but he took fights whilst waiting for Wilder unlike the likes of Callum Smith who killed his momentum and interest in his career by just waiting around. It worked against him eventually in the end in the Povetkin fight but in this era of everyone avoiding and not fighting I think he deserves respect.

I know there is slightly more to it than I have put that people mention I can’t remember all the facts but that was the overview wasn’t it?

Nowhere near as bad or dull as Chisora has been and the fights he’s gotten.

As Fury proved beyond any doubt, Prime Whyte was British Level at best and the current drug reduced version would be lucky to win the Brixton Area Title.

If you can set aside the PED stuff, and I just think Whyte has been unlucky or reckless with those where others get away with it, I've kind of come to like him. Very little BS, he shows respect when he's given it and as you say he'll fight just about anyone.

Can also be a bit of a bellend but can't we all!

Once the balloon is popped, it is hard for a fighter to hit the top, particularly the wrong side of 30.

Time to get Joyce, Chisora, Whyte, Dave Allen, Hughie Fury. Nathan Gorman, Frazer Clarke and David Adeleye together for a British Level WBSS type Tournament over the next 12 months with the winner getting a future undercard spot in Riyadh 2025.

Ex Army Jim rated him higher than Lennox and Holyfield if I remember correctly. Sadly for him, he was dross.

Not sure how this plays out, mainly because I don't think I've ever seen Joe throw an uppercut...
