Warren mentioned the idea of this in a recent interview. Crossroads fight. I think Wilder wins by KO.

Wilder by knockout, Joyce is too open and such fighters suit Wilder, in that fight one could assess what kind of chin Joyce has...

It wouldn't happen as Wilders team wouldn't let Wilder in with someone who can hit hard as Joyce.

If it did actually happen, Joyce KO inside the 1st round as Wilder is packing a glass chin and also can't take body shots.

It'd be a fight I'd pay to watch. I reckon Joyce will take it.

Would be an interesting match up. I can see a case for both fighters. Wilder hits very hard and Joyce is easy to hit but nobody has come close to hurting Joyce and with Joyce's jab and aggression he could back Wilder up and make him ineffective and much like against Ortiz, Wilder would need to be patient and wait for an opportunity. But unlike Ortiz, Joyce won't tire or slow down so that opportunity may not come.

If Wilder can hurt him with one punch then I see and early KO likely for Wilder. But if Joyce just like Fury eats the shot and gets up and keeps coming then I see Joyce eventually getting to Wilder and stopping him late.

Right now I say the first scenario is more likely, because Wilder is more proven. But if Joyce proves himself against better opposition then that may change.

Joyce backs Wilder up and batters him. Collapsing the Fury Wilder narrative like a deck of cards.
Let's be hones though Wilder ain't taking that fight.

Highly depends on how much the Fury trilogy has taken out of Wilder. If Wilder’s chin still holds up, then he would TKO Joyce.

For all of Joyce’s attributes, especially his size and stamina which would serve him well against Wilder, he’s extremely easy to hit and Wilder would find his chin with inevitability: early to mid TKO.

If Wilder is shot now, then Joyce would be able to walk him down and stop Wilder in the mid-rounds.

Big Joe the only active heavy I give a chance in with Wilder simply because that chin looks granite.

that said, history has taught us wilder kos every man he steps in a ring with who ISNT an ATG

I'd love to see this fight, but there is no way Wilder would take on someone as strong as Joyce in his comeback fight. Warren is just talking.

    Wilder-Martin is much more likely.

    Wilder.

Joe is already slurring his words, gets caught constantly by nobodies, and has been koed in the amateurs within a minute.

Great stylistic fight on paper, but it's a massacre.

Does Joyce really hit that hard though? He couldn't stop Bryan Jennings.

Joyce vs Kownacki would set a record for most clean punches to the head.
Neither guy can block a punch.

Carries decent power e.g. Dubois, certainly enough to KO or stop Wilder.
