I think Joyce looks in a career best physical condition. Great work from him and his team. I think he’ll come through tonight (perhaps after a little scare) then needs to start calling out Fury for a summer showdown. Warren owes him this or else he’s just going to be sitting on an interim title for another 18 months.

 

Does he work for Matchroom? Can’t imagine a Matchroom employee sitting on an obscure subsection of a boxing forum all day spinning. Laughed at “almost 40 year old opponent” 4 of Joshua’s “big” “ top 10” wins are off shopworn 40 year olds while he was in his 20s or very early 30s. Joyce is nearly 40 himself haha

 

You would like to think not, but it wouldn’t remotely surprise me.

 

Any prelims for this?

 

I expect Fury to fight Ruiz and Usyk to fight Dubois in the summer, and then Usyk Fury in December. After that, unless there's a rematch, I see both retiring, definitely Usyk, and Fury only fighting Joshua / Ngannou for the money. Joshua is with Matchroom so I don't see the Joyce fight getting made especially since I only think Joshua has a few fights left in his career.

How is what I said related to me allegedly working for Matchroom ? Think about what you are saying rather than trying to push an agenda you have built inside your head.

I suspect despite the age difference, Wilder will have a longer career than Joshua. He's had fewer hard fights but made far less cash.

You could see Wilder regaining a title once Fury and Usyk are out of the road.

After that it feels like we're into the mid 80s with a series of not-quite-elite fighters sharing the belts until a Tyson comes along.
