I like the guy but he is the slowest boxer I've ever seen. He would always lose to fast power punchers like Wilder & Joshua. His punches never have any snap in them
On the slow side yes but extremely tough, very good endurance and very strong. To beat him you have to be really good. Bottom line.
He was perfect for smaller dudes who fighting style was going forward to him. He will always looks poor vs quicker puncher and he same with technical magic dudes like Usyk, Sanchez probably. He still got his strong sides. Just bad move taking Zhang. They dont read propper way what happend in Hrgovic vx Zhang fight. But 80% of boxing fans got same problem.
Joyce' chin took too many bombs and it finally cracked. He always fought like The Frankenstein monster to me.
Joyce will be fed to the actual monster Frankenstein monster soon ... Please Mr Warren, throw the beaten remains to Daniel Dubois! He need a confidence booster for his second shot at the heavyweight title! Lol
You're kidding right? In the middle of the second round I was predicting Joyce to get ko'ed, it was a continuation of the first fight where Joyce had no clue what to do. He's finished
Names like Whyte, Dubois, Ruiz, Ajagba and Anderson are listed on top 10 lists...so no, I am most definitely not kidding.
Dubois at #5 on boxrec is bizarre given he's been stopped twice and his resume is mostly fringe men. Zhang will be #5 by tomorrow night but c'mon boxrec. I rate Bakole, Mak, Hrgovic and Sanchez higher than Dubois. Anderson possibly also. Ruiz is missing due to his inactive fat ass.
Yeah, I'd pick him to beat all of the above provided his chin and or confidence aren't shattered. But that was a huge KO and not one I think is going to leave him unaffected.
