Joyce's two best wins (Parkers, Dubois) aged very well.

Hopefully he still has something in the tank.

Parker in late 2022, sure. By far his best win.

But it's a stretch to give him more credit for Dubois.
Dubois has matured A LOT inside (and outside) the ring since 2020.

Tbh, Jennings gave Joyce a harder fight than Dubois.

Though I'm with you in that id like to see him try to come again. Zhang was a bad style match up. Though parker was a favourable one.

It will be a long and tough cone back. At 38 years old his windows is closing fast.

While his wins may have aged well, Joyce did not.

They did and he still beats Parker styles and fights and all that. Dubois might be a tougher fight now.

You’re right. Not bad at all.

I do this he’s done now though.

That could still happen, good matchup. Joyce will probably get a big fight after stopping Chisora.

Felt that was the actual Joyce camp strategy for Parker. Eat every punch Parker throws and pray that he runs out of gas.

Facts, any big puncher would destroy him. Which makes Usyks win over him crazy cause he’s not a big puncher, but was able to take him to school.

Those turned out to be solid wins, especially the Parker one. Not sure he could emulate those now though, as the Zhang losses have ruined him.

It's a good point, especially about Parker. I hope he gets a return, too, but if you look at him, he is looking puffier, and seems disinterested in fighting at the top. Those losses were brutal.

    But hey, you are right.

True, Parker and Dubois have done well since those loses which reflects well on Joyce.

I think too many have written Joyce off prematurely, yes he was stopped twice by Zhang but in hindsight it was always a bad style match up. Joyce still can be a factor in the division and can be involved in some interesting match ups. But he needs to be matched more carefully, a rematch with Dubois after he loses to Joshua is marketable, a fight with Hrgovic is winnable, maybe a fight with Whyte, but he should avoid Joshua he gets KO'ed again if that fight happens, he's simply too easy to hit and big punchers will always be a huge risk for him even with his good chin.
