Joyce's two best wins (Parkers, Dubois) aged very well.

Those wins have aged well but he hasn’t

 

Not really that crazy. Usyk beat a novice Joyce who had only been boxing for 5 years or something while Usyk already was Olympic champion.

 

Had Joyce not taken the Zhang rematch, most people would still have him in the top 5. I think that's where he went wrong.

Yeah true but Joyce was much faster back then. Right now he looks like he's moving through mud.

 

Joyce is still joyce just a lil bit puffer and slow but he still destroys Parker, Whyte, chisora, dubios hergovic and maybe Sanchez

Kabayel, Fury, Usyk are too fluidy for him
Zhang, Joshua are too heavy handed for him

 

Unfortunately Joe Joyce turned professional too late for him to afford the defeats he suffered against Zhang.
Ironically the same is true of Zhang but Zhang won the fights ( and his two career losses are the type that didn't set him back at all really).

 

The odds are stacked against Joyce now but anything is possible.

 

The dangers of turning pro late, not a lot of room to rebuild if things go south.
