So we've got Ricky Hatton vs Paulie Malignaggi in November which will determine who is the #1 fighter in the 140lb division.. How do you view both of these fighters in other fights with the rest of the division? Who win's these matchups?

    Ricky Hatton vs Tim Bradley
    Ricky Hatton vs Kendall Holt
    Ricky Hatton vs Junior Witter
    Ricky Hatton vs Andreas Kotelnik
    Ricky Hatton vs Ricardo Torres

    Paulie Malignaggi vs Tim Bradley
    Paulie Malignaggi vs Kendall Holt
    Paulie Malignaggi vs Junior Witter
    Paulie Malignaggi vs Andreas Kotelnik
    Paulie Malignaggi vs Ricardo Torres

Also, Hatton is supposbly going to fight the winner of Pacquiao/De La Hoya.. Now let's just say Pac wins.. Who would you give the better chance to at defeating Pac? Hatton or Malignaggi?

Apparently on these forums bradley beats all of these fighters handily based on a boring upset over junior witter and a one-sided title defense over a career lightweight.

I would like to see Bradley fight the winner of NGoudjo and Urango. Victor Ortiz vs. Torres would be a good fight, a decent step up for Ortiz and a good comeback fight for Torres (assuming the Holt rubber match doesn't happen right away)

For me Hatton wins all those, Bradley's right is a nice shot and he impressed me against Witter who is awkward, but Witter would cause more problems for Hatton than Bradley. As for Paulie i think he would beat Holt and Kotelnik but might struggle against the rest, tho Paulie-Witter would be intresting. Id have to give Hatton the better chance of beating Pac.

Bradley takes Kotelnik and maybe even Malignaggi after Hatton is done with him

Paulie would have real trouble with Holt. Holt is a pretty good boxer and can punch pretty damn hard. However, he doesn't let his hands go enough because of his sorry chin. Againt Paulie, he won't have to worry about his chin failing him. Paulie's punches can't break wind. That's not a good matchup for Paulie.

Hatton has a good shot at beating all of those guys. Paulie has a good shot at losing to all of those guys.

I didnt say Paulie would knock him out, Holt can punch, paulies proved he can take them, Holts a pretty good boxer, IMO paulies better, It might be close but i was giving MY opinion on the question and i think paulie takes it.

Of course Paulie wouldn't knock him out. However, because Paulie has no power he can't exploit Holt's biggest weakness; his chin. Holt can actually let his hands go in this fight. Paulie's boxing abilities are overrated. Yeah, the guy has a good jab but that's about it. The rest of his punches are all shoeshine. His defense is suspect as well. Paulie has beaten all club fighters and straight foward fighters without much pop. Guys who can actually box and can hit will give Paulie trouble. I expect Hatton to beat him up in Nov.
