Just read that Dibella has plans to buy out Jermain Taylor and replace him with the winner of a Green/ Bika fight !

They should put in Bute instead.

Taylor wont accept it, he already has a lot of money and will get the opportunity to win a title.

I was very excited about the Super Six but after the first round the word that can best describe what I feel is "meh".

    - Taylor was KTFO for the 3rd time in his last 5 fights. His record in the last 2 years is 1-4.

    - Andre Dirrell should change his name to Hussein Bolt.

    - Carl Froch looked like a contestant from one of those "Toughman Man" events.

    - Andre Ward head-butted his way to a victory against a very stiff and underwhelming Mikkel Kessler.

Round 2 match ups are about as interesting as watching paint dry:

    1- Ward-Taylor... ZZZzzzZZZzz
    2- Abraham-Dirrell... ZZZzzZZZzzz
    3- Froch-Kessler...ZZzzzZZZzz

Funny thing is... 6 months ago those match up would have been mouthwatering.

    Funny how things change.

hopefully this means retirement. i've read he's invested wisely and made good money even before fighting hopkins. everlast should have paid him very well. he was on their magazine for every product they had.

Is Green/Bika signed? Please say YES!

  8. Really?

Before the tournament, we'd all be watering at the mouth for this fight.

I'm still looking forward to it.

Bull****! If I was Taylor I'd be beyond pissed. How many other opportunities is he (or ANYONE) ever going to get to challenge for a world title coming off that kind of skid?

If he wants to continue, I'd like to see him take up a little tune-up fight like Ward and Kessler had

Bika would make the tournament much more exciting than Taylor... but if guys can leave and come in, what's the point of a tournament?

Well, a fight between a Toughman contestant and a robot doesn't sound that exciting to me.

    Just kidding. :D

Could turn out to be a good fight. I've just lost quite a bit of interest for it with the performances Froch and Kessler put up in their last fights.

Oh he is just a bitter Bute fan. It seems that Pavlik and Bute fans cant stand this thing. Everyone eles seems to like it. I think that round two is going to be more exciting then round one. I dont care for Ward vs Taylor but the other two fights I cant wait for.

Though I like the fight between Bika and Green I would have preferred Bute as well instead of these 2 ..

i personally cant wait for the next round! can taylor win when not faced against a power puncher, will dirrell learn from his first loss, can abraham preform against the best SMW's, can froch and ward stay undefeated, can kessler bonce back, was it ring rust or is kessler past his prime?
