If Guzman can't stand and trade with Sotto, what makes you think he'll stay in front of the "baby bull".

I would say Diaz by UD. Guzman would need a few more fights to get ready for this one if he want to have a realistic chance. I don't know why all that hype about Guzman, hes good but i feel he needs to prove himself more before i get him into my P4P list.

But they aren't necessarily terribly fast...and neither are his feet - do you really see him getting and staying in range long enough to let his hands go as much as he did against Julio? Don't get me wrong, he has decent speed and footwork...but not in Joan's league. Juan's punch output and stamina are his meal tickets; the former would be negated by his inability to land clean and as for the latter, Guzman doesn't have bad stamina himself - he'd be content to counter and move nonstop from bell to bell. I don't see Juan's style or persistence bothering him.

I've re-analysed this fight and if Guzman sticks to a gameplan then he'll win 8 to 4 or around there over Juan.

We really haven't seen Diaz get in there with a guy who's fast on his feet. I'd pick by UD now but I think dude can be exposed by a slick boxer.

Diaz would crush Guzman with workrate, strength and tenacity. He would keep his high guard and nullify Guzmans countering opportunities, and simply out work and out muscle him in close quarters. If this fight goes through I'll be the fitst one to make a wager with you. No way in hell could Guzman keep Diaz off him.

The high guard won't protect him from short, straight stinging bodyshots. Trust me, Guzman's 'feather' fists will force Diaz to drop his. :yep
