Juan C Gomez ready for Vitali!

no way dude. i like JCG but he's similar to tony thompson, an awkard southpaw, with more handspeed and less size he has very little power and unlike thompson, has a very suspect defense. He keeps his hands very low and doesn't move his feet much. His workrate is nothing to write home about either. Both Klits would tee off on him especially wlad. He can beat or be very competitive with anyone else out there though.

 

I really respect Mr Gomez. But you are obviously wrong.

 

Expecting Juan Carlos Gomez to show up huge in a big title fight is akin for a disappointment.

 

Gomez is really a soft touch as a mandatory for Vitali. Gomez was a good Cruiserweight but he was never a particular good HW.

 

I can think of another cruiser turned heavy who he should face :think

Wasn't Gomez a long term sparring partner for the Klitschkos? Certainly he knows better than anyone else that he is no match for Vitali.

Gomez is looking for a final big payday before calling it quits. Vitali, as an old gym mate, will probably be gracious enough to give it to him.

Vitali will beat down Gomez in the same fashion that he kayoed Larry Donald. Gomez's cuteness will enable him to hang in there until the late rounds, but utlimately he will be beaten senseless.

I've heard Vitali and JCG had some great gym wars but the ring and the gym's 2 different things. Vitali breaks down JCG and stps him.

Totally different fight for Vitali than Peter though.

I dont have much faith in him being able to do it for the whole fight but Gomez will give Vitali some tough moments with his speed and skill.
