    There was a bit of buzz around Carrillo a year or so ago, I liked what I saw, but I wanted to see his chin tested. He then came within a **** hair of being KO'd by Richard Vansiclen and gassed out a little in the second half of their fight. That was all I needed to see from him, fairly or unfairly, to write him off.:lol:

    Gotcha...seems like this journeyman Rankin actually is able to crack a bit, short of the level where he stepped up and lost. 16 of 21 victories (76%) by stoppage. And most of these hyped up Colombian bangers typically have defense that's...unpolished to say the least. :sisi1

    Maybe we get a fun upset.

    Not sure how well Salloum's philly shell combined with slow and languid upper body defense is going to fare stepping up - assuming he can even get by Townsel here, which is a hard maybe with how many flush southpaw jabs on the body he's taking and how they pop his mouth open.

    Salloum has some skills but he has no real power and looks poorly conditioned fighting only 1 minute per round. Townsel has been outlanding him clearly so far.
