    ok, first off..

    1) who the **** are these people...?
    2) why would someone pay you to fight them
    3) is there no one the top 100 that will fight you?
    4) did you seriously call out wlad a few months ago? :rofl:rofl

i like the headline by his promoters website

Fight between Dimitrenko and Sosnowski was cancelled! Big wins for Gomez, Charr and Tschachkijew

promoter Klaus-Peter Kohl on resigning Gomez to Universum

JCG very good cruiserweight....and you have proven you cant beat alot of very shitty heavyweight..heavyweight guys....

so do us all a favor and STFU you and your promoter who should be banned for trying to sell garbage like your 2010 year and reward you with another mauling where you didnt win a minute of a round

He looked bloated in the pictures i saw from last night...he could have easily win a belt few yrs ago,but his dedication didnt help his cause.A shame, way very talented.
still he can beat more than a few decent names out there, based only on his natural skills.

A question we should ask his promoters who are the ones putting his fights together.

Yeah, if Gomez can keep the weight down and beat someone decent Wlad may well give him a shot. The quote above by Gomez is inaccurate btw, he weighed 6 lbs more last night then he did against Vitali.

Well for Wlad's next fight (assuming victory over Chisora) if Wlad can't get Haye, Adamek or Mormeck...then he might consider Vitali left-overs like Gomez or Arreola. Everyone else is either ducking him or have been recently beaten by him.

Tony Thompson is far more deserving of a 2nd chance at a title.

    His 2010:

Owen Beck 29 wins 4 defeats
Paul Marinaccio 25 wins 5 defeats

He last two rounds longer against Wlad than Gomez did against Vitali (and Wlad is the bigger puncher). He also won a couple more rounds.

Since their title challenges, Gomez is 5-0 (3) against D level opponents. Thompson is 4-0 (4) against C/B- level opponents.

I say put Gomez and Thompson in and let them show who the worthier contender is (which we already know).

He was a top notch Cruiserweight, but his Heavyweight career was ruined by Universum.

He should just retire and let Mike Perez or Odlanier Solis (ha ha *ahem*) take over.
