    With all the talk about Haye stepping up, howabout yesterday's top cruiserweight?

    He's still ranked 2 or 3 by the WBC. What chance of him contesting and winning a heavyweight title?

    He is fighting Virchis in September this fight has finally been signed and hopefully will now go ahead. Virchis may start as favourite, but if Gomez is in shape I will go with him to win a Unanimous Decision.

    Yeh he's about 35 I think. He used to be a fantastic cruiser.

    Gomez has fantastic footwork, but the guy just has some bad habits outside of the ring.
