    Pretty 50-50 too, I'd say.

Voted for Reveco (on the basis I don't think Ioka's level of opposition since his first official L, will help him exercise any ghosts) but with the fight taking place in Japan, was tempted by Ioka.

Ioka is still, frankly, unproven at 112. For that, kind of have to lean towards Reveco. But the Japanese is brimming with talent. Great fight.

Ioka is still Japans second-best boxer after Inoue. He should win.

The funny thing is just 2 or even 1.5 years ago this would've seemed a mismatch (during Ioka's peak, still unbeaten and beginning a new reign in a 2nd division and still looking a h2h beast) as I always liked Cotón but considered him a relatively weak titlist. Since late 2013 one's stock has risen (Reveco looking very good in his last 4 outings, especially dispatching Matematico Nunez and withstanding the early onslaught from Sirichai Thaiyen) while the other fell (Ioka just not performing so hot at flyweight, even though he still deserved the nod over Ruenroeng on activity IMO), dovetailing into this being indeed a very competitive and compelling piece of matchmaking. :good

Big fan of Ioka but he's barely top 5 anymore, for me. He just isn't the same force at fly as he was at straw and light fly.

Uchiyama is older (and slipping himself) but still more dominant vis-à-vis his current weight class than Ioka, and Yamanaka despite being being made to look mortal by Suriyan is probably better right now too.

    Inoue
    Uchiyama
    Yamanaka
    Miura
    Ioka

...after them, probably Takayama Yaegashi, Wake, Tomoki, and Iwasa rounding out the back end of 10 in no particular order. (I mean, probably a particular order, just not one I feel like hurting my brain hashing out right now :yep)

Yeah, Koki hasn't looked elite for a long time now.

His brother Tomoki is himself flawed but clearly the best Kameda and has been for a couple of years.

    Both much better than Daiki.

If the brothers fought each other, which do you think would be victorious? :think

I'm not sure he was going in, but the win over Kameda catapulted him into it, if I remember rightly.
