Commentators just gave the score of "setenta y ocho" to "setenta y quatro", 78-74...I am guessing to Salgado.

Good to hear Salgado taking this.

    How's that cut?

    Round 9

Big attack to the body by Salgado. Barros covers up and absorbs it until Salgado slows down. Salgado is jabbing and backing up, leaning on the ropes. Barros comes pounding in, exhaling loudly and rhythmically as he raps out several lunging shots together. Salgado puts his shoulders forward and down, alternating by turn, slipping shots up close and ducking while moving away. A few light counters from Salgado, but his activity offensively has really fallen off in the last minute.

    10-9 Salgado

Salgado is comfortably in front with his extra aggression. Going into the 10th now.

    Round 10

Barros comes forward, lunging with jabs and rights as Salgado leans back against the ropes. Right hand lead by Salgado. Jabs to the body by Barros. After having several jabs caught on the low-held gloves of Salgado, Barros brings them up and manages to tickle him with a head jab. Now a big sweeping hook by Barros, glancing by the ear. Salgado shoves forward and they wrestle in the middle of the ring until Weeks breaks them up. Jab and uppercut combos by Salgado, degenerating into a sloppy shoeshine as he pushes Barros to the ropes. Barros spins into superior position and blasts Salgado on the ropes with jabs and crosses as the Mexican tries to slip, exhausted and unable to time his movements well enough to do anything but roll with punches as they land. Salgado digs deep and backs Barros to the ropes with another jab and uppercut sequence, and some more shoeshining to the body to keep him there until the bell.

Huge jump gap from round 1 now to 8th?
You know, some of us rely on this RbR as our weekend dose.
Sounds like Salgado has it though.

    Round 11

Salgado is going for broke, HUGE left and right uppercuts. Barros is pushed to the ropes, getting clocked with a few of these despite keeping a high tight guard against his face. Salgado shrugs and shakes his arms out, seeming to wonder what it takes to hurt this guy. Salgado backs up across the ring, throwing jabs and alternating between big looping rights and mere feints to keep Barros guessing and buy some time. Barros gets him backed into a corner and opens up, big overhands!! Body jab by Barros, and Salgado drives him away with a right hand. Barros reaches over the top with a few door-knockers. Big flurry by Salgado. Barros tries to get him running out of position with a leaping jab aimed at the throat, but Salgado calmly sidesteps and throws a counter flurry.

    10-9 Salgado

Some of us rely on streams to do those RBR reports. If those streams dry up...:dead

He's won the vast majority of the rounds with his aggression, been backing up Barros into the ropes and going into all out attack mode, despite the fact Barros hasn't appeared to be too badly hurt.

Doing the introductions in the Rossel/Diaz fight, so might just get the Salgado fight out of the way first...touch and go.

    Round 12

Salgado is dancing around on his toes, playing matador as Barros tries to rush him with high jabs. Salgado pops off the 1-2 leaping in at an angle, then pivoting away from Barros. Double jab to the nose by Barros. Big stiff jab knocks Salgado's head around as he's trying to duck, and Barros tries to club him with a right hand. Salgado is hugging the ropes. Salgado borderline running, probably realizing he's got a lead to protect and just needs to survive. Barros takes HUGE swipes with his left, trying to get Salgado in a corner. Body shots by Barros. Flurry by Salgado.

    10-9 Barros

    Excuses.
What IB needs to do is attend these live fights, bring his laptop and log in to ESB.
    Hard work, dedication.
