Arce is coming on strong, tearing into Martinez's body with huge shots around the side. Arce is following through with everything, all meant to hurt. Martinez meanwhile is tying up and delivering love taps to the back. Arce is unable to get into a rhythm as Martinez puts the squeeze on him every time he dives in with body shots, and Arce is uninterested in lunging for the further target of Martinez's head.

Arce is stalking Martinez and swinging big left uppercuts to the body. Big right hand over the top! Martinez tries to slip punches against the ropes but just gets embedded into them as Arce opens up. Martinez manages to reach out and grab Arce and spin him to the ropes. Martinez smothers him, more interested in tying up than taking his own turn landing punches on his now-vulnerable opponent. Arce keeps trying for big body shots, but Martinez is stepping back and lashing his long arms out to wrap them around Arce's. Uppercuts traded as they spin in the corner. THEY BROKE THE CORNER! They bumped against it so many times the rubber turnbuckle post came loose and is now dangling. Arce lunges with overhands from a crouch, missing as Martinez skips in reverse. Arce chases him into a corner and finally lands flush. Martinez shakes it off while walking to his stool.

The boxers move toward each other as the bell rings, and are told to pause as a wet spot is mopped up. Time in. Arce is chasing with a chopping 1-2, and Martinez is knocked back into the ropes and perhaps hurt. Martinez reaches out and holds Arce. Big hooks to the body by Arce while propping himself against Martinez after wrenching his arms free. Lead left hand by Martinez, landing square between the eyes. Arce flops in while landing a right hand up top and then digs a hard left hook to the body. Clinch, and Martinez chest-bumps Arce across the ring while pinning his arms down. Lunging right hand by Arce, and a jab to the body before getting held again. The crowd is growing restless, some boos. Arce hooks away over Martinez as he ducks and winds up getting him in a headlock. Right hand by Arce. Another clinch.

Arce seems to be hoping this will be over soon. He was probably hoping to get rid of Martinez by now, and wasn't anticipating suffering a cut.

Arce reaches over the top with a right hand and slams into Martinez shoulder first, getting caught in embrace by the ropes. Arce keeps throwing uppercuts on the inside and big right hands over the top on the way in between clinches, but Martinez is keeping the pace to a staccato minimum. Arce is pushed down by the ropes, not a KD. Sloppy action. Martinez is getting in a few more shots now, backing out and targeting Arce's head.

Arce slams over the top with a right hand and tries to put in a hook to the body. Martinez keeps pushing his arms down and loosing left uppercuts. Arce is starting to get outlanded now, and turns his back while trying to circle past Martinez only to get whipped in the face from behind with Martinez's arm wrapping around his head. Martinez holds and hits as Arce seems to take a breather. Martinez is actually doing more work to the body on the inside now. Arce loads up a right hand up top but gets blocked, then misses a low slicing hook.

Round 10

Arce flicks a rare jab coming forward. Right to the body by Arce. Martinez traps his arm and pulls Arce close. Big right hand by Arce and Martinez again pins him and drags him into a corner by the wrists. Arce reaches with a right hand, tiring and slowing, and Martinez pops a few light uppercuts into his face. Diving right hand by Arce, grabbed again. Martinez taps the body in the clinch. Arce is swinging wildly up top as Martinez holds him by the waist and pushes him outside. Body shots by Martinez. Looping left by Martinez, just clipping Arce's face. Clinch. Arce paws at his eye with his left knuckles, appearing to pull a Tyson Fury. Martinez chops a right jab into Arce's face and disrupts his balance. Arce now has to hold. Arce walks Martinez across the ring with the threat of a jab but doesn't throw. The crowd isn't happy.
