Right now Canal Telecaribe is showing "PENAL", which is like their bootleg Colombian version of SportsCenter. The studio panel was talking about soccer, and then praising their lightweight Olympic hopeful Angie Valdés for her performance earlier today in Paris.

At top of the hour it'll be 10pm local time in Santa Marta, which I'm pretty sure is when boxing goes live.

 

The subheading of the program is, and this is true - "Desde El Punto", which means "on the brink".

 

I keep switching between TeleCaribe and TeleCaribe Plus (both available on their website), not sure which is supposed to be carrying this. One is currently showing a PSA on domestic violence and the other a documentary about some guitarist.

The card has been advertised in multiple places as being on TeleCaribe but never with a start time listed. Watch this space, I guess.

It's also supposed to be shown on the WBA's channel on YouTube but they haven't gone live with anything yet.

 

Uh, okay...show was apparently cancelled because the promoters didn't secure the right permits?
