It's always difficult for me to get behind a volume puncher who lacks pop. Sooner of later they run up against someone who can handle the pressure and hit back. Three fighters I think fall into this category: Juan Diaz, Vinnie Paz, Fernando Vargas.

Nah I'd favor Juan over Witter i'm not convinced on Witter ..I 'd like to see him try to keep the Baby bull off of him .

The fact that juan is overweight for 135 anc could fight at 130, and witter is a big solid 140 with no fat would suggest that he is alot stronger than him.

Yeah but that just means he may be better suited for 140 ..Look at Cotto he looks stronger at welter than he did at Jr. Welter ..

He make the fight I would like to see it not sure if you would ..

Cotto is stronger at 147 because he had to lose alot of weight to make the limit, juan diaz could make 130 or maybe 126 if he trimmed up like most other fighters. I don't see any advantage for him going against legit 140 pund fighters who are alot bigger and stonger than him. I would love to see ricky hatton or junior witter take apart diaz and i think they would both win with ease.

Im sure thats where Juan is heading considering he's already having problem making weight ..But since this is all hypthetical lets see how they progress in these next couple of fights before we start breaking each fighter down ..Is Witter still fighting Hopkins or is that fight off ?

The fight with hopkins is off, he bottled out on facing witter. I can't see how juan is having problems making the 135 limit when he is caryying 10lbs of fat, he has good stamin though conisdering he aint exactly in tip top shape.

include Guzman, Casa and even Valero lol

You have to understand..if you are at the top of the game..this is expected..

same thing for Floyd..I read in these very same board that Hatton would beat him:rofl

Physical appearance has very little to do with fitness however. For instance, i have a freakishly fast metabolism, where i simply cannot put on fat, but can put on muscle quite easily. I have absolutely zero cardiovascular fitness however, even though people who don't know me usually think otherwise. When i was boxing, there would be fat amatuers in the superheavys, who would run 7 km a day, do 15 rounds on the bag, and were literally twice as fit as i was, even though they weighed much much more. To look at though, you might think they were very unfight. Some people like Juan Diaz just have bad genes when it comes to physical appearance as well, regardless of how fit they actually are.

Whats your point, i said he was very fit even though he looked fat, i just can't understand how he struggles to mkae 135 when he carries 10lbs of fat.

The best chances are to overwhelm PAC MAN and out brawl David Diaz.

I always thought Juan Diaz was a good boxer, but in their prime Corrales and Castillo would both knock him out. I also thought that Diaz had average power at best. That would have spelled doom against other world-class opponents. I don't know. Could he add power to his punch?
