I was a fan of Juan Diaz ever since I first got to see him fight against Lorcy. He is a very good fighter with amazing workrate, stamina, a very good chin, and his defense is underrated. Plus this kid is world class outside of the ring too. I wonder if he has graduated yet?

Nothing surprising about that... It's tremendously difficult to rely on a gameplan which is to find openings and expect mistakes from a savage puncher on the defensive mode and that was Julio Diaz and his fans', got drained away in a one-sided affair... Julio lost and I surely didn't lose anything with him losing.

I've been a fan of Diaz since his first fight. I love the kid. Man if he had more power he'd be putting people to sleep with the combinations he lands cleanly.

Its a moot point because he still breaks his opponents down. The kid is the goods and I've always said it.

HAHAHAHA!!! you mean Pac is close second to him? Pac does not have the same stamina or work rate as Juan. Juan is a guy that throws 100+ punches a round. His speed is better than Pacs. He puts together combinations faster and better than PAC. Has a damn good chin. I guess what im tryin to say is there is no way in Hell Pac would beat Juan. Look for Pac to avoid this guy like he is doing to Soto.

I like Juan Diaz. Simple and effective in his approach. It is going to take a master boxer or brawler to undo him. I look forward to him fighting Casa.

Me and Freddy made a post about why mexicans aren't high on this kid many months ago.
Well, now he's finally arrived with his two recent victories, I congratulate him, he's going to have a decent future in the lightweight div.

Juan Diaz is the first Mexican I know to shave his forehead. :yep

Anyways, Juan Diaz is relentless and one of my favorite fighters. He reminds me a lot of Miguel Cotto minus a little bit of power. They both bring the pain.
